Husband clubbed his wife to death with pestle in Nkpor, Anambra state.

A man residing in Nkpor close to Onitsha in Idemili North Local Government of Anambra state have allegedly killed his wife with a pestle. In a post shared on a popular Igbo group page, Somtoo Ndomadu wrote, An Ebonyi state indegene with four kids murdered wife today at Nkpor Anambra state with a pestle (Akaodo) after a brief argument, say no to domestic violence.

Farmer asked government to honour him after his hectares of farm was destroyed by cows.

A young Nigerian man on Twitter have appealled to the government to "honour" him after some cattle rearer destroyed his farm in plateau state. In a post shared on his page, @PaulJAdama wrote,

Nigeria army caught 5 armed robbery gang terrorizing commuters along Lokoja/Okene road.

Troops of Nigerian army have has intercepted a gang of armed robbers operating at Felele, along Lokoja - Okene highway wearing military camouflage and robbing innocent commuters.

In a statement released by army spokesman Texas Chukwu he said that three of the robbers, Saviour Denis-39years, Isaac Donald-35years & Joseph Isah-35years were arrested while one Mr Atsen was neutralized during an & Oyinoye Ochefije were arrested during the encounter.

Items recovered include: One AK 47 rifle, One AK 47 rifle magazine loaded with 28 rounds of ammunition, Four pairs of military camouflage uniform, One pair of Nigeria Police pullover, Three pairs of berets, One pair of black boot, Two machetes, One Plier, 22 handsets, A  sum of sixteen thousand nine hundred and eighty naira cash.

The suspects are currently undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate authority for further necessary action.

Many feared death as Sokoto bound bus fell into a ditch.

Unconfirmed number of persons have died when a Sokoto bound bus filled with passengers fell into a ditch. In a post shared on his Facebook page, Ajah Okechukwu thanked God for saving the life of his mother who was in the bus. He gave an insight of what happened.

Thank God, many die but God brought her alive with just a minor injury along kwali express way last at about 10pm they had an accident on there way for from Sokoto to Ishiagu Ebonyi  State. I was informed at about 4:29am this morning.

I drove straight in search of her at the accident scene. I was told she has been taken to the hospital,  i went i search of her because  the victims where shared among five  different hospital and here I found her after searching 3 hospitals I found her in St. Mary's hospital Gwagwalada.

Help me and my entire family members to thank this God who has done this great miracle ( Nothing was missing and nothing was broken)

Bus driver bites a man for cautioning him on his recklessness.

When we were coming from Warri today we stop at Ore to have lunch, the driver of young shall grow motors wanted to hit our sisters while he was trying to park and just because i questioned him while the reason he drove that way, he came down from the bus and started a fight with the young man.

As he was trying to fight with the young shall grow driver to defence, he just bit the chest and hand as seen in the pictures & video! He was even trying to fight the young man family that try to peace after all he did him....crying out loud here to reach out  to the owner of young shall grow motors to know the kind of driver they employ.

13 year old girl impregnated by her dad and poisoned by mother survives.

Twitter user @raheem4u has shared a touching story of a 13 girl who got pregnant after she was raped by her father and the mum poisoned her to die so as to cover up the shame.

Read her incredibly story, Please someone should refer me to a humanitarian (legal) personnel willing to take up a case of a young girl,  age 13 raped and impregnated by her father and poisoned to die by her mother to cover up for the shame in Nasarawa local government area of Nasarawa State.

Alhamdulillah the girl survived but lost the baby. She is currently in our General hospital here and both parent of hers have been arrested. My fear is that this girl will not get justice as it will be looked at as family issue which is why I am reaching out.

Police arrest a man in a bar while celebrating his new 'stolen' vehicles with friends

A man who allegedly bought a stolen vehicle, changed the number and repainted it has been arrested at a bar while he was celebrating with friend for buying a car.

Read the report as shared by John Oloche Mathew. Last night ended very well with a successful recovery of this stolen vehicle.

In brief, the suspects in the pictures moved the vehicle on the 16th of this month somewhere around Garki area 3 Abuja from a parked location.

The client instructed his driver to park the vehicle at a hotel in Abuja after dropping him at the airport on his way out of the Country, The driver claimed the key was missing from his pocket and the car was stolen.

Last night we tracked the vehicle to Gudu garden where the suspect was having the fun of his life declaring drinks for a purchase of a new vehicle.

He had repainted the car from black to white and also changed registration. We waited for about 3hrs until he finally came out to pick his new vehicle then he was arrested. Now his confession: He bought the said vehicle for N500,000 only.

8 men arrested for raping a pregnant goat to death in India.

The police in India have booked eight men in a village in Haryana’s Mewat district for raping a goat on Wednesday night.

The seven-year-old goat was pregnant and died a day after the assault. The goat owner  filed a police complaint on Thursday. Police said the accused are locals and alleged history-sheeters.

Three of them were beaten up by villagers after the owner of the goat caught them in the act. The police are yet to make any arrests but say that the accused would be nabbed soon

Police have registered a case under Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, which prohibits “carnal intercourse against the order of nature with man, woman or animal” and under the Animal Cruelty Act at Nagina police station in Nuh, earlier known as Mewat.

A man who was caught stealing electricity cable in a community in Anambra state have been given the beating of his life by the community.

10 died when a building still under construction collasped in Ibadan, Oyo state

A building still under construction has collapsed and killed about 10 persons in Ibadan Oyo state. Most of those that lost their lives are bricklayers working on the site according to @taiwoalabiho2 who shared the sad new on his Twitter page. He equally lost a brother in the unfortunate accident.

Young radio presenter and photographer commits suicide in Lagos.

Oluwapelumi Orungbe, an OAP and photographer, has reportedly committed suicide in Magodo, Lagos.

It was gathered that she took her own life yesterday and has since been buried. According to her bestie, Kunbi, who spoke to Pelumi, a night before, there was no indication that such was going to happen.

Also reacting to the news, OAP N6, under who the 2017 Unilag graduate once interned, she never gave any hint of depression, as she was always smiling and jovial, a claim corroborated by many people who knew her.

6 worshipers killed in a mosque by gunmen in Zamfara state.

At least six people were killed in a mosque at Kawddi village, Zurmi local government area of Zamfara state. The attack, which also injured at least eight people, occurred around 8pm on Tuesday.

Muhammad Shehu, spokesman of the state police command, confirmed the incident. He said the gunmen invaded the village in large numbers and started shooting sporadically.

Situated in a thick forest and surrounded by rocks, Kwaddi village shares boundary with the Niger Republic, a terrain which the police spokesman said made it difficult for security operatives to respond swiftly to any distress call.

He, however, said security operatives had been deployed in the village to forestall further attacks and restore calm to the area.

Woman set a house on fire for not getting an invite to a party.

A woman identified as Shameka Howse from Nashville was pissed that she didn’t receive an invite to a local party in her area, so she decided to set the house on fire for being left out!

According to News Channel 5, this incident happened on June 28 and Shameka knew the people who were throwing the party inside the house. Authorities said that Shameka came with an unknown man in the driver's seat and started going off about not receiving an invite to the party.

Her pleas didn’t help because they still wouldn’t let her inside, and she allegedly told them that she was going to set the house on fire.


Police said she walked back to the truck, pulled out a jug of lighter fluid and started pouring it on the house it over the front window of the house. She then reportedly took a butane lighter and lit the fire.

Son killed her mother over house rent in Anambra state.

A son has sent her mother to her early grave over collection of house rent in Nnewi Anambra state. The sad incident reportedly happened on Tuesday 24 July 2018 in Okpuneze Uruagu, Nnewi North local government area of Anambra state.

Eye witnesses who narrated  the incident confirm that the deceased, Mrs lkegwuonu  was preparing her goods for the next market day when the misunderstanding broke up between  his son Chinedu lkegwuonu over who is the  rightful person to collect house rent from the tenants  living in her compound.

The quarrel got to a point that chinedu lkegwuonu  beheaded his mother with a knife and she bleeded to death.

Before  she met her untimely death, she was a peaceful woman and a hustler with a good heart.

At this time Chinedu lkegwuonu is still no where to be found, the question on the lips of everyone is how much is the house lent that worth the life of this poor woman.

A 300 level computer science student identified as Caleb from Umuokpara Okigwe has been shot dead at Alvan Ikoku college of education school gate Owerri by unknown gunmen.
