Delta state Governor's convoy crushes keke beyond repair.

A tricycle, popularly know as keke, driver has begun his new year on a sad note all no thanks to the Delta state governor's convoy which hits his tricycle and destroyed it beyond repair.

The accident happened at Memories in Sapele. According to an eye witness, the accident was caused by the reckless driving of the governor's convoy. The tricycle driver sustained some injuries but are not life threatening.

2 kids from the same parents burnt to dead in a domestic fire accident.

Two children from the same parents have been burnt to death when their kitchen caught fire. The tragic accident domestic accident happened at Mission Road Jesse town according to Sapele Oghenek who shared the story and the gory pictures on their Facebook wall.

Report has it that the kitchen is close to where there is lots of bushes and the fire could not be contained. When the mother finally arrived, the kids have been burnt beyond recognition and only their charred remain was left. So sad

'I have paid my tithe, i believe in no pastor" Man says as he celebrate his birthday.

Facebook user Cypher Nnamani has taken to his wall to share a picture of him sharing what looks like food and drinks to some destitute on the street of Benin city. It's his birthday and he decide that he's going to give back to the less privilege.

That is not what really caught my attention, what got me there is the write up that follows, he said it's his own way of paying his tithe. He wrote, "I have paid my own tithe,i believe in no pastor". It's seem that Freeze's free the sheeple is taking traction. Good for him.

Government destroys street trader's shade to stop the spread of cholera.

There have been an outbreak of cholera in parts of Zambia and many have died in some province. In a bit to stop the spread of the epidemic, government has destroyed some table belonging to street traders in Kabwe region in a bid to stop the disease from spreading further into the central region, according to reports by Zambezi Reporters. I wonder if there's and correlation between those street traders and the spread of disease.

3 young men shot dead during protest against Fulani herdsmen in Benue.

Report has it that some persons were shot dead by the military during a protest by some indigenes of Benue state over the incessant attacks by dreaded Fulani herdsmen.

Police arrest Badoo cult group charm maker in Ogun state.

The Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday made a major breakthrough in the fight against the menace of Badoo cult with the arrest of the group's herbalist, Fatai Adebayo alias Alese.

The notorious activities of the dreaded cult group prevalent in Ikorodu and Epe axis of the State had sent many of the victims to their early graves with cruel killings through the smashing of mortar and pestle on victims' heads.

Adebayo, 34, who specializes in administering oath on members of the group before they launch any attack, was arrested at his shrine located in Imosan Village, a suburb of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

The arrest of the herbalist followed the arrest of some Badoo cult suspects at the weekend including the overall head of the group.

Speaking while parading Adebayo before newsmen at the shrine, the State's Commissioner of Police, Mr Imohimi Edgal said the head of the group was arrested on water during an attempt to escape.

The CP, who led the operation involving the Commander of Rapid Response Squad (RRS), ACP Tunji Disu; Chairman of Lagos State Special Task Force, SP Yinka Egbeyemi, among others, said investigation was still ongoing but that the full details about the arrests made so far would be disclosed on Thursday at a press briefing.

He said: "Over the weekend, we had far reaching achievement in the fight against the killers popularly known as Badoo in Ikorodu.

"Their kingpin who is the head of the group has been arrested. He was arrested on water as he was making his escape."

Revealing how the herbalist was arrested, Edgal said: "One of the suspects arrested confessed and he led us here that before they go for any killing, the head of the group brings them to this gentleman (Adebayo) to come and carry out oath for both themselves and the piece of stone they used for their killings and that they don't go for any killing without first of all coming for oath in this shrine and that is why we are here.

"This gentleman is an accomplice before the fact and so definitely we are placing him under arrest and as well as sealing off the shrine till after investigation.

"I will give further details on Thursday during my press briefing but I can assure the good people of Ikorodu, Lagosians and Nigerians that we will not rest until this evil is completely rooted out from Lagos State," Edgal assured.

The CP also made a brief stop-over at the palace of the traditional ruler of Imosan Village, Chief Tajudeen Muili to intimate him of the criminal activities going on under his domain.

At the shrine located at No 38, Ayegbami Quarters in Imosan, which was later demolished by policemen, there were different charms and big stones said to be used for the illicit activities of the Badoo group.

New year tragedy, More than 16 persons killed in early morning attack by unknown gunmen in Omoku, Rivers state.

Report coming in from Omoku in Ohaji/Egbema/Ndoni local government area of Rivers state has it that more than 16 persons were shot dead in the early hours of this morning.

They were said to be coming back from the crossover service when an unknown gunmen opened fire on them killing over a dozen persons and injuring others.

According to some reports those that attacked the people came into Omoku through Aligwu to unleash mayhem on the people on new year morning.

Bizman escapes assassination attempt few days to mum's burial.

An Abuja based Estate Developer, Peter Okolo who returned to his Nnewichi-Nnewi country home in Anambra state for Christmas and new year celebration as well as put final touches to burial arrangement of his mother Madam Monica Okolo cheated death by the whiskers.

The Estate Surveyor who spoke with journalists from his hiding place yesterday claimed that four armed men in security patrol vehicle gave him a chase and actually shot at him at certain point in the industrial town of Nnewi.

Okolo while recounting his experience said he has petitioned the Inspector General of Police(IGP) Director General DSS and others as he is forced to constantly change his place of abode in his own community because of fear of his assailants

He alleged that a business partner, Baroness Halima Fernandez, Chairman, Valedictorian Nigeria Limited has actually threatened that she would ensure that he is not alive to bury his late mother.

Okolo said that he actually had a contract with Federal Capital Development Authority in 2003 and Baroness Fernandez and her company was meant to be the facilitator and agent but that since then, the woman whose relation was appointed the DG of DSS has threatened to use the nation's 'secret police' to eliminate him.

The Estate Developer said he has bent backward too much to accommodate the new position she was advancing just to ensure that the deal ends peacefully but instead of seeing reason, her partner reported him to EFCC on trump up charges.

He pointed out that at the end of their investigations, EFCC gave him and his company a clean bill of health and even expressed shock that he sacrificed so much to carry her partner along.

"Since I came out of EFCC probes unscathed, she has resorted to all manner of intimidation and harassment which got worse since her relation was appointed the DG of DSS. I never though she meant all her threats until I actually ran for my dear life when four assailants came after me.

"Baroness Fernandez is my primary suspect because she was the only one I had dealings with who has openly threatened to eliminate me before the burial of my mother which is to come up on 4th January 2018 in Nnewi.

The hunted property developer has however sent a save my soul message to the Director General of DSS and the Inspector General of Police to come to his aid before his life is cut short in his prime.

Attempt to hear from Baroness Fernandez and the Anambra State Director of DSS did not yield any positive dividend as their cell phone were not reachable at the time of filing this report.

A man who identified as Dauda Umar Potiskum and goes by the Twitter handle @Ibraheem_Pkm has said that Igbo in the north should be held responsible if anything happens to President Buhari son who was involved in a bike accident recently. In a tweet he sent out, he refered to Ndigbo as infidel and said that they should atone if anything happens to Buhari's son.

Robbers attacked us and tried to rape me, girls narrates her ordeal in hands of armed robbers

It was a very awful and bitter incident which took place on 29/12/2017 at about 2:00am.

I woke to the cries of my neighbour who was  helplessly calling and pleading to God to come to her rescue. I came out with my mom asking what was wrong, we saw 2 rough looking guys with a gun and an axe, attacking them.

The robbers ordered us to go back into our house and they later followed us. They requested for our money and they collected as much as they can, then they ordered me to go and lie down on the bed. I exclaimed and asked, " Heh! Chi Ogbugbandu I g'ekwe? (Oh Covenant Keeping God, will you permit this?

I ran out of the house immediately and ran towards a fence demarcating us from the neighbouring compound. I didn't know how i got to the fence top, next i saw myself in the neighbouring compound. I stood up and staggered to their door and pleaded with them to open their door and when they did, I narrated the situation at hand to them.

The robbers didn't catch me so they went back into the house and tooks all the phones in the house.

About 30 minutes later, my mom called out to me and asked me to return to the house that it is over.

When I got back, my neighbour explained that at the time she was crying, that those heartless fools were forcefully attempting to molest her 16 year old daughter, despite the innocent girl's cries and pleas. The girl later ran out  of the compound through a hole under our gate, into the night darkness.

We were still there discussing our ordeal when one of the bastards returned with his torchlight and gun. This time, he is undressed with just a boxer and he said to me, "you thought you have escaped from me".

Recognising him, viaaaam! I took to my heels and ran to the backyard. He threatened to shoot me if i run but I didn't care. My mom started shouting, calling out to the neighourhood and saying prayers to the Covenant keeping God. The robber threatened to shoot her but she didn't care so he shot in the air but i didnt look back.

I got to the fence top again but this time i didnt jump over because i saw another person jump over and i guessed it was a robber, I jumped back into our  compound and hide in a plantain plantation. There i stayed quietly while silently saying prayers to my Maker.

It wasnt long before people from my neighbourhood started entering my compound with their weapons and the robber escaped through the back fence.

I came out of my hiding place and tearfully sang victorious songs of praise to my Covenant Keeping God who saved me.

I am still in shock and pain but I thank God because it is only his Grace that saved me.
