See the situation of young man who's leg was amputated after a stray bullet from army hit him.

Am Emmanuel i reside in the city of Port-harcourt around Iwofe, Rumuolumini axies. On the 14th of September 2017 I boarded a keke heading towards wimpy junction.. I was actually rushing to school to write my exams.. Inside the keke was I and one elderly woman whom I was seated next to..

As we where about approaching one popular market along Iwofe road i noticed some crowd of people gathering when I looked harder i saw some military men with guns and some girls they where forcing to enter there van.

While the keke was still on motion and while we were about passing the scene I heard a gun shot. Just like that I saw blood flowing through my hands and legs. The bullet pierced though my hands and left leg and hit the woman.. The elderly woman fell out to the centre of the road and was shouting for help.

While me too was still inside the keke shouting for help too.. The keke driver stopped his keke ran down towards the military and was shouting.. Una Don shot my passengers oo.. The military men ignored him entered there van and took off.

I pleaded with him to take me the nearest hospital.. We quickly left for the hospital leaving the dying elderly woman whom have already been surrended by crowd of people.. Before we could get to the hospital I was already gone or should I say dead..

According to the keke boy he said he paid the doctor before he accepted to take me to the lab and give me blood. While inside the lab I regained myself.. The doctor asked me to call my people which I did.

When they came the doctor told them that the bullet have damage the artery that supplies blood. Down to my feet that we should deposit 8 hundred thousand so he can call an orthopedic doctor to come from enugu.. We told him we don't have such amount of money he said we ain't serious that if the leg enters the next day it will be dead by then.

He immediately sent us off to Military hospital on getting to military hospital there was no bed space.. We went to BMH they where on strike likewise UPTH.. Someone later directed us to one private hospital.. On our arrival the doctors said we should run a test..which they did.. They nextMorning the leg was already dead.. I stayed in that hospital for five days before we heard that they have called off the strike we immediately rushed down to UPTH on getting there the doctors comfirmed to us that the leg is gone. That the only remedy is to amputate it

While my parents where calcalating on what next to do.. The next today the hospital went for another strike.. I was later transferred to another private hospital where my left leg was finally amputated.. After the amputation..all these while the military men did not ask about me. Or the elderly woman.

My lawyer  had to write a petition letter to army chief of staff.. Of which he honoured he sent his men to the hospital. They came and asked me how it happened I explained to them. They told my my to take them to the place which she did. After a week time they came back and said they have seen the group of army men that did it and they have been arrested that they have written a fit back to army chief of staff.. We said no problem.. Since then till date it's getting to a year now we have not heard from themI and my widow mother have been suffering.

The people we are owing are on our neck.. We have tried to reach out to army chief of staff again but to no avail.. Please someone should help me.. Please God bless us all
