It seem the ongoing African athletic competition going on in Asaba the Delta state capital is fraught with lots of hitches. Some of the journalist billed to cover the event are facing lots of challenges and they have taken to social media to vent out the frustration.
One of such person is a South African journalist Wesely Botton who wrote on his Twitter page, "No hotel rooms available and no accreditation for us to get into the stadium, less than an hour before the start of the African Athletics Champs. This mess keeps getting messier. That's my grumpy face"
He continued, "Just been informed my accreditation is not ready so I can't cover the first session. Five days of travelling issues, no hotel room available because they're overbooked, and now I can't even do my job. Gotta try and shake it off but this is getting silly #Asaba2018"
