The suspects, one Mr Ifedichukwu Iloduba from Eziagulu village, Ekwulobia and Chika Umeakunne from Umudim Nnewi, allegedly stole a pregnant goat from one woman and came back on a second mission to steal again.
This time they allegedly stole two small goats on Tuesday and went to the market to sell it, before they were caught by the woman, who raised alarm that attracted the village's vigilante.
One of the suspects reportedly fainted along the way.
