Imo residents destroys road sign post name after former Liberian president.

Some persons in Imo state have destroyed the road sign on the road that was named after the former Liberian president Ellen Sirleaf Johnson. The picture of the destroyed road sign was shared by Chris-Lance Osondu-Onyemechara.

It will be recalled that last year, Imo state governor Rochas Okorocha invited some African heads of state to unveil statue that erected for them. Some of those he invited includes South African president Jacob Zuma, Ghanaian president Nana Ado Kufuo and Johnson Sirleaf.

During their visit some of them were inducted into Imo state hall of fame and were given traditional titles. This gesture by Imo state governor has not gone down well with some Imo people and has become an object of jokes for most resident. This may have been the reason why some persons destroyed the sign post.
