It's no longer news that Robert Mugabe, the president of southern African nation of Zimbabwe recently resigned after a long 37 years in power. He's resignation followed 8 days of drama between him and the military chiefs who laid a seige on his presidential villa and had negotiated with him to throw in the towel. The 93 years old war veteran and freedom fighter resigned yesterday to a wide jubilation all across the country.
Anyway, this is not the main reason for writing this, it's just to give you a background of what am about to write.
Another African dictator, the strong man of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni has sent out a tweet that has got everybody talking. Read what he wrote, Now that the economic situation in Uganda is improving, the government will be able to look into raising of salaries of soldiers, public servants, health workers and teachers and also deal with institutional housing.
Is he scared that what has happened in Zimbabwe will still happen in Uganda, hence the hasty talk of increasing salaries.
