Heavy storm hits Durban South Africa, see the pictures.

So a heavy wind and storm hit the South African city of Durban and have left most of the street flooded. Not just streets but cars were virtually submerged in the flood and properties destroyed.

There are reports that rivers in Pietermaritzburg and Durban has broke the banks and have affected residents.

The South African Weather Service issued a warning of gale force winds between 70 and 90km per hour between Durban and Mozambique in the next 24 hours.

Warnings have been issued of severe thunderstorms‚ with a risk of hail.
