See what this community did to a whale they caught on their shores.

This pictures was posted on his Facebook wall by Sam Patrick Dogtimi and shows a community in Bayelsea feasting either on a large fish that was washed up or got stranded in their shores. This is what he wrote, The whale crash landed in Akassa, Brass LGA, Bayelsa State and became delicious for her people. #MannaInAkassa

If this is really a whale, what killed it? Is it safe for people to consume it without knowing what caused it's dead. What if it's stranded, why can't they refloat it instead of making a meal of it. Anyway this is Nigeria and poverty is very high and people are looking for a way to survive.
