The rainy season is here again and as usual Nigerians have started experiencing what can be termed an annual occurrence- flood. Some parts of Nigeria witnessed heavy rains yesterday and as a result most roads were flooded especially in the commercial city of Lagos and some parts of Port-Harcourt.
Nigerian drainages are always open and most city dwellers don't dispose their domestic waste properly. Some residents of these cities use the drainage as a dump resulting in flooding of roads and houses whenever it rains. Here's a picture of some of parts of Lagos that was flooded yesterday.
