This picture has been trending online and has got people talking. It's a picture showing members kneeling down to welcome their General Overseer. The man is the founder of Firehouse Assembly Abuja.

He's Bishop Emmanuel Esezobor, and his church is located beside Niger-Delta Gardens and Hotels Check Point, Nyanya, Abuja. He's been a very controversial pastor as he has been accused of performing fake miracles which he has outrightly denied.

Do you know this mentally challenged man?

About a week ago, I was walking down a popular road  in Benin city while on phone with a friend.
As I was about to  cross a T-junction, suddenly while still on the phone I heard the man (in rags) whose pictures you are seeing speaking the best of English grammar, but not minding him nor listening to what he was saying, I walked past him.
Immediately he paused, and I heard a strange voice calling me by name.
Shocked I quickly hanged up the phone.

Don't you know me? He asked! I didn't say a word. Looking at him, still wondering how he got to know my name!
Are you not a Nifesian? He questioned.
He then went on to remind me what happened about ten years ago, how I helped him as a fresher in Delsu Asaba campus, how I accommodated him  when he had issues in hostel 9.
He told me his name is Emeka. At this point I was confused so I hurried away.

But as I walked away, I was troubled within me especially because even though he looked insane but his ability to accurately remember events that transpired 10 years ago was baffling.
Convinced in my spirit to probe further, I went back.

I called him EMEKA and with excitement he said, "you Don remember me now abi?"
Then I interrupted him.

I asked him who else he knew in Delsu apart from me. Adebola Bakare  he replied.

The following discussion ensued
Me: Who was you best friend in School
Emeka: Stanley ochuko

Me: which course did you study?
Emeka: business administration

Me: which year did you gain admission? Emeka: 2007

Me: where you a regular student? Emeka: no it was CEP he replied.

At this moment I was like how come you remember  so much? Emeka: I can remember everything that happened.

Me: Okay, give me any of your family member's phone number.
Emeka: I can't remember any

Me: if you can remember what happened 10 years ago, you should be able to remember a number.
Emeka: if I remember I for tell you.

Me: Where do your parents recides? Emeka: DSC.

Me: which church do your parents attend? Emeka: deeper life bible church.

Me: which branch. Emeka: DSC branch.

Me: what about your siblings?
Emeka: I don't know where they are.

I discovered that He is from Isialangwa, Ugwa in Abia state. His mum's name is Mrs. Unkasi popularly known as "nwanyi church" he added. And for over 30 minutes I was with him asking questions and receiving answers?

Before I finally left, he described his place where he sleeps along the road to me. I have passed by that place several times within the week and always see him sitting.

I have gathered that his name is Onwughara Daniel and that he started having certain mental issues back in school.

MY THOUGHTS
How can an insane Man remember things that happened over 10 years ago?
Maybe he just needs a good psychiatrist then he will gain back his senses.

Beautiful South African lady burnt to death on Christmas day by her boyfriend.

This beautiful South African lady has been burnt to death by her boyfriend. In a post shared by a South African blog, they wrote, She was burned alive by her boyfriend on 25 December 2017, Christmas day.
Rest in Peace Irene Taylorene Khutlelang.

They did not provide the details of why and how he was allegedly burnt to death by her boyfriend.

Meanwhile a quick search on Facebook shows a tribute by her sister. She wrote, You may be gone but you'll never be forgotten...

Boxing day tragedy! Tipper crushed young boy to death at Umuchu, Anambra state.

Fanta Boy Ekwem has taken to his Facebook page to share pictures of gory accident that happened in Umuchu Aguata Local government area of Anambra state. He say that the unidentified boy was crushed to death by a sand truck popularly know as tipper.

He wrote, I was there live when it happened, the little boy was trying to purchase Knockout from across the road before the unfortunate vehicle knocked him down and ran away.

Man caught snatching phone with dagger at a show in Delta state.

The guy whose picture is attached to this write up was caught by Nigeria Naval Officers on which were on guard in a program.

According to his victim a young girl, she said the guy attacked him with dagger and made away with her phone, she said when she was struggling not to let go of her phone, he stopped her incessantly, her screaming was said to have attracted the naval officers, they gave him a hot chase and caught up with him, dispossessed him of the phone and gave it to the rightful owner, he was seriously beaten and handed him over to police officers.

Fuel Scarcity Wahala! One crushed to death in a ghastly accident at NNPC fuel station in Enugu..

Facebook user Aniekwe King has posted a ghastly motor accident that claimed one life and injuring so many others at NNPC fuel station Enugu.

Though he did not provide details of the accident he said that the scarcity of fuel has send some to their early grave.

Armed robbers dressed in police uniform caught in Enugu.

Four Robbers were caught by the police in Enugu, in the early hours of yesterday. 

The robbers were caught in the very act as they were still robbing a bus, when they were apprehended after a gun battle with the police. 

They were consequently arrested with some of them badly wounded. The Police is asking that they be notified if anyone is seen with bullet wounds as some of the robbers took to their heels with bullet wounds.

Chinese mall unveils Trump inspired dog statue in preparation for new year.

A shopping mall in north China’s Shanxi Province has unveiled a dog statue inspired by Donald Trump. 2018 is the Year of the Dog in Chinese culture, and Trump, born in 1946, is a dog under the Chinese zodiac.

With Trump’s trademark golden bouffant and a typical hand gesture, the statue has attracted a lot of passers-by.

This is the mall’s second Trump-inspired statue. Partnering with Seattle artist Casey Latiolais, it came to public attention last year for a 30-foot Trump rooster. You’ve guessed it; 2017 was the Year of the Rooster.

Shocking! Church screen suddenly displays porn mid service. Picture.

So Twitter user @_faexo tweeted an +18 picture on her page and said that someone mistakenly displayed an adult movie on a new screen bought by her mum's church for displaying of hymns during church service.

In a series of tweets she wrote, So my mom’s church got a donation of new computers and tv screens so they can put the hymns on the screen and what not.

So my mom comes home and is like “OMG KAILA!!! I have to tell you what happened today!” So lowkey I’m hoping one of the old bitties got their ass beat cause there’s forever drama at the church.

Anyway, she goes on to tell me how they were singing and praising the lord. Then they notice people in the audience are gasping and looking hella embarrassed. She turns around and sees this.

Grace to grass! Former Arsenal player turned pauper after a messy divorce.

Former Premier League star Emmanuel Eboue has lifted the lid on the bitter divorce battle with wife Aurelie that stripped him of all his assets.

The ex- Arsenal ace earned millions during his seven years in England's top-flight where he lived in a mansion and drove flashy cars.

However, Eboue, who is unable to play football because of ill-health, has been pushed to the brink of suicide after finding himself in a downward spiral.

The Ivorian even had to hide from cops and bailiffs after being ordered by a judge to transfer his remaining Enfield home to his wife. He hasn't seen his three kids since June.

Eboue, who has his belongings in bags, said: “I can’t afford the money to continue to have any lawyer or barrister.

"I am in the house but I am scared. Because I don’t know what time the police will come.

“Sometimes I shut off the lights because I don’t want people to know that I am inside. I put everything behind the door.

"My own house. I suffered to buy my house but I am now scared.

“I am not going to sell my clothes or sell what I have. I will fight until the end because it is not fair.”

It is now three weeks since a deadline passed for Eboue to surrender ownership of the North London home he used to share with Aurelie.

A judge will sign the transfer if Eboue does not do so.

The player and his wife lived there in happier times before Eboue bought a mansion – which Aurelie has now put on the market.

He understands she will rent out the Enfield property.

The 34-year-old has not seen his children in months.

“I can’t see them and it is hurting me a lot," he said. “I was close to my children and ready to do everything for them.

“My two girls have a phone and used to call me. But now it has been two months with no contact.

“I miss children. I miss my children a lot and I want to see them because it is not fair. It pains me a lot."

Eboue has taken a huge fall from the days he netted millions at Arsenal and then more than £1.5million a year at Turkish side Galatasaray.

His dream of a Premier League return with Sunderland evaporated last year, however, after he was hit with a 12-month ban by FIFA after a dispute with a former agent.

Eboue says he was never given guidance to manage his finances.
Insisting his wife looked after most of their affairs, he admits being “naive” with money.

He also claims he was beset by a string of people who gave bad advice and lost him huge sums.

With a limited education, Eboue is paying the price for being unaware of his financial situation. His handful of visits to the bank were with Aurelie.

Eboue even recalls an occasion when bank staff visited him – to sign paperwork – at Arsenal’s training ground.

And he now wants other young African footballers to learn from his mistakes.

He says: “I look back and say ‘Emmanuel, you have been naive... why didn’t you think about that before?’ It is hard.

"Very, very hard. The money I earned, I sent it to my wife for our children.
“In Turkey I earned eight million euros. I sent seven million back home. Whatever she tells me to sign, I sign.

"She is my wife. The problems with FIFA were because of people advising me. People who are supposed to care. But it was because of them FIFA banned me.”

Having surrendered the cars among assets transferred to his wife, Eboue now has an Oyster card and relies on London transport – while doing his best to avoid being recognised.

He splits his time between the Enfield house and the home of a confidante he calls his “sister” – Yasmin Razak.

He often sleeps on a mattress on her living room floor.

But even watching TV – and seeing the likes of former team-mate Thierry Henry as a football pundit – triggers negative thoughts.

He adds: “When I see Thierry I feel happy for him but ashamed of my own situation.

"When I see friends on TV that I played with or against I say to myself ‘I should still be there’. It’s hard to watch them.”

Both Yasmin and another close pal, ex-Portsmouth and Newcastle striker Lomana Lua Lua, have been crucial in helping Eboue stay afloat.

Of Yasmin, he said: “I call her house The Bunker. I can hide there. She has children. I don’t want to disturb them, so I sleep on the floor.”

Eboue is devastated at spending Christmas apart from his own kids, daughters Clara, 14, and Maeva, 12, and son Mathis, nine.

He goes on: “It hurts me a lot. They used to call me. But now, no contact. It pains me to be alone without them.”

Eboue has been left without so much as a washing machine.

But he won’t be beaten, saying: “Every day I wash my jeans, my clothes, everything. My hands are hard. As though I have been working on a farm.

“I thank my grandmother because she taught me to wash, cook, clean, everything as a young man.

“I continue to thank God. I have my life. I didn’t want what has happened. I don’t wish it on anybody.”

While Eboue wants to return to playing one day, he would jump at the chance of working with former club Arsenal or players’ union the PFA.

He says: “I would accept help from anywhere but if my previous club wants to help me then I would be very, very happy. Maybe I could help the young players?

“The PFA helped me when I had my problems with my agent. If they gave me a job, even if it wasn’t a big, big job.

“Maybe I’d see some of the people I played with or against and I’d feel embarrassed. But I would cope.”

Fulani herdsmen injured many when they attacked a community in Adamawa state.

Facebook user Pwavidon Ezekiel has taken to his page to share pictures of persons that were attacked by Fulani herdsmen in their community in Adamawa state.

He wrote, Tambo was attacked by Fulani herdmen today. Two people have been brought to the hospital at Yola.

Someone just called from the village to say that there are more victims. The problem started when some Fulani herders sent their cows into a farm, when the owner of the farm asked why they replied him with a gun shot and injured him, they also shot his cousin with him.

They are the first victims brought to the hospital now.
