Car crashed into a busy market in UK.

Two people have been injured after a car crashed through market stalls and into a lorry in Buckingham.

A woman had to be rescued from inside the car while a pedestrian was also injured.

Police said they were called to Market Square just before 8.50am and the driver is described as being elderly.

Thames Valley Police said in a statement: ‘The ambulance service is in attendance and it is believed there are at least two people injured.

‘Many of the market stalls were damaged during the collision.’

Witness Raimonda Barauskaite said: I heard a very loud noise and thought something horrible had happened. ‘I looked outside and the whole market had gone.’

A spokesman for Bucks Fire and Rescue service told Mix 96: ‘Firefighters assisted South Central Ambulance Service with casualty care after a car struck a lorry, Market Square, Buckingham.

‘One appliance and crew from Buckingham, one from Winslow and two officers attended. Two women – the car driver and a pedestrian were injured

Shocking! Five year old boy finds a python in his toilet.

A five-year-old boy was shocked to discover a python inside his toilet when he lifted up the lid.

He was "frantic" when he found it in the bathroom at home in Southend, Essex, his mother Laura Cowell said.

Specialists from pet shop Scales and Fangs came to the rescue, removing the harmless 3ft (91cm) baby royal python.

"It smelt of bleach and a bit toilet-y," Ethan Pinion from the store said. The snake "most likely came up the u-bend" and is expected to recover fully.

Mrs Cowell said the toilet had been "blocked for several days and the water wasn't draining well", but at the time, she did not know why.

Her son discovered the unwelcome visitor when he went to use the toilet on Wednesday.

"He was frantic, and shaking, and I could tell something was wrong, but that was not what I expected," she said.

"I had to use a broom handle to lift the lid, then out popped its head and its tongue came out as well."

The snake is being treated at the store and once "in perfect health" will be "rehomed with someone reputable so he won't end up in a toilet again".

EFFC arrest students of polytechnic in South West that are into internet fraud.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos zonal office, has arrested seven National Diploma (ND) students of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, Ogun State for alleged offenses bordering on conspiracy, obtaining money under false pretenses and possession of forged documents.

The suspects- Adesina Olalekan, Makinde Noheem, Toheeb Ogunowo, Somotun Olusola, Somotun Sodiq, Tajudeen Hafeez Bolaji and Kareem Olaseni- are studying various courses in the institution.

They were arrested alongside Iyun Ifeoluwa, Odusanwo Ibrahim, Obanijesu Opeyemi Soneye, Azeez Olayinka, Babatunde Ajala, Ojejimi Ademola, Aderowunmi Ayomide and Oluokun Oluwaseun by operatives of the Commission within Abeokuta and its environs on August 17, 2016, following a petition received by the Commission about their activities.

The suspects, who were said to be living flamboyantly, were alleged to be involved in internet scam, forgery of financial instruments and lottery scam, among others.

One of the suspects, Olaseni, a 21-year-old Business Administration student, was said to have created a Facebook account with the name Dean Robert, with which he interacted with his victims.

In his statement, Olaseni gave a blow-by-blow revealed his modus operandi, saying, “I tell them (his victims) that they have won Facebook Lottery.  I have people who receive the money sent by the victims.  Then, the money is remitted into my personal accounts domiciled in GTBank and Skye Bank.”

A number of items, including laptops, forged documents, were recovered from the suspects during their arrests.

The suspects will be charged to court after investigations are concluded

Gulder ultimate search winner shot dead in Lagos state.

The winner of the 2006 Gulder Ultimate Serach, Hector Joberteh, has been killed in Lagos. Hector, according to close friends who spoke exclusively to the Nigerian Tribune, had gone out, earlier Saturday morning to pick a relative from the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos State.

It was suggested that his assailants had trailed him from the airport to his home, where he was eventually killed.

Eyewitnesses report that two men had forcibly gained entrance into the compound where Hector lived and questioned a few residents for his (Hector’s) whereabouts, after which upon sighting him, opened fire.

Hector’s father was also said to have been shot in the hand and is currently recuperating in the hospital.

Luckily, Hector’s wife, also a former contestant of the GUS competition, was said to be living abroad and wasn’t home at the time of the attack. The couple got married in 2013.

Meanwhile, friends and family of the slain Hector have taken to various social media platforms to express sorrow and anger at the way he was killed. While various reports continue to trickle in, many are demanding justice for the slain Hector and demanding a safer Nigeria in general

Disgusting! Women arrested for selling vulture and donkey meat in Bayelsa.

Three women has been arrested by a vigilante group for selling vulture and donkey meat in place of chicken and beef in a popular market in Bayelsa state.

The women who were identified as Doris, Finegirl, and Beauty, and hail from Ughelli community, in Delta state, were apprehended at the Tombia market Etegwe, Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa state and were handed over to men of the Akenfa Division, Bayelsa Police command.

The women who confessed selling Vulture meat and carcasses of donkeys to unsuspecting buyers, added that they bring these meats from neighbouring states into the state and sell at cheap and affordable prices to unsuspecting buyers, mostly those who own restaurants, bars and canteens.

Speaking with reporters during a parade of the suspects, the Yenagoa coordinator of the Vigilante Network, Comrade Bunas Samuel, advised all Bayelsans to be on alert and be careful on what they consume. He called on NAFDAC to live up to it's responsibility and checkmate the activities of food hawkers.

Lucky man! Man escapes death by whiskers when a tanker fall on his car in Anambra state.

Don't know how this happened, but according to Valentine Agina Kosi who shared this, the man escaped unhurt when his vehicle was crushed by a tanker filled with petroleum product along Enugu-Onitsha expressway.

He wrote, Thank you Jesus this happened now along Onitsha - Enugu express way, 1st September, 1st Thanksgiving, this man is the owner of the car, he escaped mber month, thank you Jesus!!!! I'm so happy

Looking at the deplorable state of that road, why won't this accident happen. It's high time the federal government go fix that road. Thank God the man was not killed or engulfed in flames.

Shocking! Fulani herdsmen man killed a man in his farm in Edo state.

Fulani herdsmen invaded Oben Community Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State and killed Mr. Efosa while he tried to confront the herdsmen over the damages caused by their herds of cattle.

Until the gruesome murder of Mr. Efosa, was a farmer, survived by two wives and twelve Children.

This unholy and inhuman attack by the Fulani Herdsmen has become a reoccurring incident in the region. Few months ago, they also committed more severe pains. Their herds of cattle will destroy the farmer's crops and when the farmers confronts them, they will compare them to death with their AK47  and other dangerous weapons.

The painful thing about this situation is that these arm bearing Fulani herdsmen are not being attacked or apprehended by any of our Nigerian Security officers, they are even empowered and paid.

We need to form security outfits and arm them well so they can chase these barbaric Fulani herdsmen terrorist because the northern led government will never stop them from killing our people, they are using them to invade our land

Tragic Sallah: Three killed when a car rammed in Muslims faithful in Ogun state.

Three Muslim faithful have been confirmed dead after a car crashed into a prayer ground during Eid-El Kabir prayers in Ogun state.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed this to newsmen. Some eyewitnesses said the driver lost control of the vehicle and plunged it unto the worshippers.

He said some angry worshippers descended on the driver but he was rescued by the police. He said many of the worshippers sustained varying degrees of injuries.
