It was a shocking sight to behold when traders at Onitsha main market woke up to to see a female body floating near the bank of river Niger.

People mostly women that cook food near the area gathered to see the body and wondered how the young lady ended up floating in the waters of the Niger

It was gathered that it rained the previous night and many believed she might have been drowned while others insisted she was murdered and pushed into the river.

The photos were captured from the stands were the main market traders urinate into the river which also happens to be the place where some food sellers prepare food for the Onitsha main market traders
