A young lady has been stabbed to death by phone snatchers in Kaduna state for daring to resist them.

Jasmine John Precious was on her way home after closing from her place of work when she was attacked by the hoodlums.

According to Instablog9ja, two young boys approached the deceased while waiting for a bike to convey her home and demanded that she gave them her phone. She refused to give them the phone and they stabbed her on the chest, took her phone and fled the scene. The young lady died on the spot.

A young Somali man has married two women on the same night and said that he will encourage other men to do it.

According to BBC, Bashir Mohamed said he courted both women for about eight months, and convinced them to marry him. "I used to bring them together to socialise with me at my home," he told BBC Somali. "I used to say openly to both of them that I love them. They were satisfied," he added.

The advantage of marrying both at the same time was that they would not get "jealous" later, and would know from the beginning that they were in a polygamous marriage, Mr Mohamed said.

He had taken two wives because he wanted "many children". Know if news is factual and true. "I will encourage other men to do it, if they can afford it," Mr Mohamed said.

Polygamy is allowed in Somali culture, but it is unusual to marry two women at the same time.

Pandemonium at Onitsha main market as tout kills a business man..

There was pandemonium and utter confusion today at the popular Onitsha main market when a known tout and his boys beat a business man to death.

According to reports, trouble started when the deceased business man identified as Ndu Nwokolo tried to intervene for a man who the tout and his boys are beating in the market.

The tout who is known as Ebende and is a native of Azia in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state and his boys started beating the business man for daring to intervene.

They beat him till he collasped and died on the spot. The touts all ran away. Some angry Onitsha youth when they heard the news stormed the market and chased occupants of the market who run for their lives.

The tout according to reports is in charge of collecting money from buses and keke that operates in the market and is known to be notorious.

Another fuel tanker fire at Abuja-Suleja highway.

Report has it that another tanker carnage has taken place this afternoon along Abuja-Suleja highway. As of the time of this report, there are no report any casualty.

Community chopped off the hand of armed robber in Anambra state.

Two men were caught trying to snatch a bike in Obeledu, Anambra state. They were caught and paraded by the community and one of them had his hand chopped off.

It was alleged that they were later killed. It's sad. Let's say no to jungle justice.

Three year old boy declared missing after fuel tank explosion in Lagos state.

A three year old boy has been declared missing by his family following yesterday tragic fuel tanker explosion in Lagos state.

His family took to instagram page to announce it and asked that whoever sees him should contact them.

Read, The boy in this picture is a three year old named Eyitayo. He was involved in the unfortunate tanker accident with his Mother, twin sister and the Driver at Otedola bridge yesterday evening.

They were a few cars away from the tanker when the explosion occurred. The Driver (Mr. Joseph) carried Eyitayo while the mother escaped with Eyitoke(Eyitayos Twin). The where about of Eyitayo and Mr. Joseph is still unknown as all attempts to trace them at the scene of the accident proved abortive. An hippopotamus was killed in River Niger at Jebba in Mokwa local government of Niger state today.


According to the reports, villagers started hunting it since the early hours of the morning.

They successfully killed it today at 4pm after six heavy gunshots and numerous arrows.
It was said to have been  killed to avert tragedy in the area. Four local boats was destroyed in the process.

23 year old uncle raped his 18 month old niece to death.

A 23 year man has raped his 18 month old niece to death in Esikhaleni, South Africa.

The baby identified as Zama was raped and brutalized in her father's house by her uncle who was staying with his brother at that time.

The baby is said to be in the care of his 26 years old father.

According to her, Zama’s father told her that her stepmother left her in the care of her uncle while she went to buy groceries on Tuesday. The mom revealed that her husband called her on Tuesday that the deceased has a swollen forehead and blood on her mouth and privates.

The uncle told the family the baby had eaten fertilizer. “He told me they were going to take her to the clinic the next morning, but when they woke up she was dead,” she added.

Two days later, the police called the baby’s father and asked him to bring the uncle to the station, where they arrested him for murder and rape. He was arraigned in court on Monday.

15 feared death in a Nairobi open air market fire.

About 15 persons have been burnt to death in a deadly market fire in Nairobi, Kenyan capital.

Report has it that more than 70 other persons were injured in the inferno which was said to have broke out in the middle of the night.

Properties worth millions of shillings were lost in the Gikomba market which is the largest open air market in the city of Nairobi.

Report has it that about 9 other persons were feared to trapped in the fire.

A fuel laden truck has exploded on the expressway around Otedola Estate, Lagos with numerous vehicles in traffic. There will be probably lots of casualties because of the numbers of vehicles caught up in the inferno.

Joe Jackson the father of Michael and Janet is dead at 89.

Joe Jackson the father of music star micheal has died. He's aged 89.

The music manager and father to 11 children, including pop superstar Michael and Janet Jackson, was being cared for in a hospital in Las Vegas.

Jackson was said to be in the final stages of terminal cancer. He had previously suffered a stroke in São Paulo in 2015, along with a number of heart attacks. His grandson, Taj Jackson, confirmed the newson Twitter.

Most times in life, things might go wrong, things may not be going as planned..you might conclude that your case is the worst on earth. Often times due to the challenges aforementioned, suicidal thought might come through.

So this my brother from another mother, a friend, a genius who everyone would love to associate with just took his life with his bare hands for reasons unidentified.. So sad and pathetic, I wish I knew the state he was before  committing suicide, who knows....my words of encouragement and motivation might keep him going.

Ex militant leader escaped assassination attempt in Bayelsa state.

Former militant leader Don Alex Watchman, has escaped assassination attempt by unknown gunmen at his resident along Bayelsa Palm road.

Watchman is from Southern Ijaw local government council area of Bayelsa state and currently the vice chairman peace and conflict resolution committee Bayelsa state.

According to the ex militant leader his assassin actors arrived his apartment at about 08:15 pm in the evening hours.

The former militant leader said he noticed some unusual movement before he knew what was happening they have broke into his apartment but he managed to escape.

The assassins carted away properties and huge amount of money and destroyed most valuables.

Conductor of a truck died in a ghastly motor accident in Onitsha.

A conductor of a truck has lost his life in a ghastly motor accident in Onitsha Anambra state.

The fatal accident happened at Habour industrial estate Onitsha at around 8:23 in the morning.

The driver of the 911 truck lost control of truck when one of it's front tyres blew and he rammed into a parked trailer. The driver survived but his conductor died on the spot.
