Unconfirmed number of persons have died and some trapped when a building collapsed in Ariria market in Abia state.

In a video posted on his Facebook page, Jahswill Chinedu wrote,

A 3 storey building collapsed this happened this evening at Old Express road By Ariaria international market aba, abia state Nigeria. Some have lost their life, Many survived, others where injured.

A pregnant woman and her two kids have lost their lives when a gas laden tanker caught fire along the busy Onitsha-Owerri road in Anambra state. The incident happened at a popular check point in Ihiala.

According to eye witness, building around that areas were not spared as majority were razed by the raging inferno.

The woman allegedly used a digger to break her house help head for using her hair cream. The incident happened in Ubomiri, in Mbaitolu Local government of Imo state.

 In a video post shared on Facebook by Raymond Anunobi which has since gone viral, the girl has blood all over her body and crowds that gathered were seen reprimanding the woman for what she did to the little girl.

Delta state governor's aide shot dead by unknown assassins in Ekpan, near Warri.

An aide to governor of Delta state Doctor Ifeanyi Okowa identified as Ngozi Lawrence Ijei was killed by unknown assassins in Ekpan near Warri in Delta state.

The aide simply identified as Ngozi Lawrence Ijei was shot dead Friday night and he is the special advicer on Youth to governor Okowa.

Dependable sources disclosed that the deceased, an infamous PDP heavyweight in the state was killed allegedly by his assailants who make sure he died before leaving him.

The source said that the deceased known for notoriety was ambushed by his suspected killers while returning from an outing.

Credible sources hinted that after killing their target, the assailants made away with huge sum of money found in his possession.

The deceased, our source disclosed had collected the money for elections ‘mobilizations’ when the hoodlums ambushed and shot him repeatedly on the cheat and head.

It was not clear if the attackers trailed him over the said money in his possession but sources said the assailants shot him and also carted away the undisclosed sum of money.

2 killed when hoodlums burns INEC buses in Akwa-Ibom state.

At least two persons have been killed in Akwa Ibom state after an attack on buses carrying sensitive materials to Obot Akara local government area.

The buses which were also conveying election personnel were set on fire and some of the drivers wounded with machetes.

The personnel and drivers are hiding in the INEC office and need urgent security and medical support as at the time of filing this report.

Local vigilante in conjunction with the police have gunned down 2 armed robbers in Oghara Delta state. In a post shared by Sapele Oghenek, the reported that the 2 men killed are part of 7 men gang that have been terrorizing parts of Sapele and its neighbourhood.

The gang were on their way to steal a car when they were accosted by the local vigilante and in the ensuing gunfire, two were killed and others fled.

Young lady stabbed to death during her early morning exercise in Anambra state.

Friends and family have been left heartbroken over to the death of a lady simply identified as Oluchi.

It was gathered that the deceased, a popular makeup artist – was stabbed to death yesterday during an early morning exercise/jogging in Awka, Anambra state capital.

Though the main reason for the attack on the beautiful lady is yet to be determined, but it was revealed that she passed away instantly after being stabbed. Her corpse has been deposited at the mortuary.

Early hours fire razed down a general hospital in Kumba.

A general hospital in Kumba Cameroon was razed down by fires in the early hours of Monday morning. In a post shared by Maybelle Boma on her Facebook page, she alluded to the fact that the gutting of the hospital may not be unconnected with the skirmishes between the majority French speaking and minority English speaking areas in Cameroon.

An I-WITNESS account...

1. A Tanker conveying Premium Motor Spirit  (fuel) while negotiating the Amawbia Roundabout lost control and fell down.

2. The Tank covers slide open and "fuel" started gushing out of the container.

3. About three (3) firefighter Tanks and officers are already on ground containing the inferno.

4. Contrary to some persons speculation, Adam & Eve is not affected.

5. About three persons who were trapped in their vehicles when it started got affected and have been rushed to the Hospital by officers and Men of Road Safety  (FRSC ).

6. Already, about 3 vehicles have been burnt.

7. Only one building is currently affected and it's being contained by men of the Anambra State firefighters.

8. Currently,some got burnt and properties were lost

Lagos traffic killed my colleague... lady calls out state government.

A lady has lamented the Lagos traffic situation that hampered taking her colleague in the office to the hospital and he died before he reached the hospital.

The company tried to get an ambulance once they were alerted of this accident. Unfortunately they couldn’t get to him on time because of traffic caused by these trucks. He died few mins to the hospital.

Now we are on our way to his house to pay his wife a condolence visit and miraculously all the trucks have disappeared from the roads.

It took the visit of @NGRPresident to get our governor @AkinwunmiAmbode to do his job.

Twitter user @kxesca has taken to her page to call out and share a picture of a guy who stole her sister's ATM and have been making withdrawals and doing some shopping. She posted his pictures and are asking people to help her find him. She said, 'This is the picture of the guy who stole my sister's ATM Card, he withdrew 120k from one account . A woman's fury... woman poured boiled water mixed with pepper on her husband.

Hell they say have no fury like a woman scorned. A man in Sapele Delta state is now battling for his life in a local hospital after his wife poured boiled water mixed with pepper on him. In a report shared by Sapele Oghenek on their Facebook wall, they said that the angry woman after pouring the hot water on her husband fled and left him with a 3 months old baby.

So today I got arrested by some police officer's attached to Abuja Environmental protection agency and was beaten up by some 3 AEPB staffs while in their car like an animal.

I had just left work this morning at Maitama opposite MTN while approaching my car, I saw some AEPB staffs arresting and chasing down hawkers. My friend was sitting in my car waiting. While approaching my friend, we started conversing and I said in this exact words.

"Maybe most of them no get this kind of business sef" addressing it to my friend while I approached him. Suddenly 2 police officers approached me and asked me out of my car, I stepped out and they asked me to follow them.

I asked to lock my car first which they let me. Then they asked for my phones, I asked why and one of them hit me with an iron rod. I entered their bus which had 3 other hawkers, some officers and AEPB staffs.

The AEPB staff, Lawal Hassan asked for my key, and I again asked why, and the 3 of them started punching and slapping me like a thief. They slapped me till I could barely hear them while the punches kept coming.

The drive round wuse and finally to their office at area 3. The officers I was taken to said I was obstructing them and I was going to be charged. Lest I forget, they also accused me of taking pictures and videos of them. They checked my phones and found nothing.

They kept striking on obstruction.
I had managed 2 use my spare phone to cantact my supervisor while in their bus.
He came and they wanted me to accept my offense and pay a fine of N5000.
My supervisor pleaded wit me and I complied and wrote an apology letter.

Addressed to their H.O.D. Today I was lucky to have received just beating even though am at the hospital for check up due to the punches that resulted in dizziness and migraines. My friend was lucky not to have been assaulted. Many don't get lucky.

Corp member dies in a fatal road accident while coming back from INEC training.

A microbiologist Kemi Adediran who graduated from Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko has died in a fatal road accident while coming back from INEC training according to Instablog.

Kemi who is of 2018 Batch 'C' Stream 2 corps member is serving in Ibadan, Oyo State. She died on Friday, in a motorcycle accident while heading home after the INEC training for 2019 general elections.

Young lady dies in a fatal road accident on her way to her traditional marriage.

Miss Mary Owan, the lady that died yesterday in a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred in Edor on her way to her hometown for her traditional marriage rites which was slated to hold this week Saturday. 

She  was a fresh graduate from the department of History and International Studies, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Calabar.
