Thunder strikes Anambra state university student to death.

An 100-Level student of the Anambra State University, Igbariam, was yesterday, killed by lightening during a downpour in the state.

According to reports, Vincent Uche Mbanefo, a student of Agric Extension, was alone in his room at Achalla, when the incident happened around 5pm.

Police detectives visited the scene and rushed the victim to the hospital where he was certified dead by a medical doctor.

The deceased parents were immediately contacted and they have gone to convey the corpse for burial in their village in Aguleri.
