To my testimony:
My gf during NYSC was recently employed in same company I work, hence she have been staying with me for some time now and it has been cool. We live as siblings.
This morning, I prepared rice and beans and the food was almost ready when I told my her to help me turn off the gas and pack our lunch while I quickly get set for work.
She had packed our food and was waiting for me to get set. After dressing up and set to leave the house, I asked if she turned off the gas and she said "yes".
We left for work at about 1pm. We got home at about 9pm and I was perceiving a burnt smell even from the gate. I jokingly said my neighbour have started burning her food this year.
Getting close to my door, I noticed the smell was coming out of my kitchen. I opened my door and ran straight to the kitchen, lo and behold, my gas was still on. The pot and food is like horror movie. The smoke alone can choke 1 to death.
My God never sleeps nor slumber! I do not know how he did it but he saved me. He saved me from building another house for my landlord. He saved me from weeping this new year. He got my back even when I was away from 1pm to 9pm.
God is awesome! Help me praise God in your own language.
