In a post by Zimbabwe Today, some villagers were seen celebrating the return of white farmers to their community. They wrote, Villagers celebrate the return of a white farmer who was evicted by President Mugabe and had his farm taken. Villagers are very happy and celebrating the return of their hero & master. The white farmer could not hide his excitement & he danced in jubilation with the villagers cheering him on. Welcome to new Zimbabwe.
It will be recalled that Zimbabwe which was regarded as the food basket of the continent went to zero production when ex president Mugabe seized all the lands belonging to the white farmers and redistributed to war veterans in a move fraught with lots of controversies.
Since the ouster of President Mugabe and coming of Emmerson Mnangagwa things are looking up for the economy and people of Zimbabwe. Let's hope the return of those farmer will take the people of Zimbabwe to part of prosperity once again.
