Shocking! Farmers uses sewage water to grow vegetables in Zambia.

Some vegetable farmers in Kitwe area of Zambia are using sewer water to grow the crops and the government is not finding it funny. The farmers grow them using raw sewer from a damaged and leaking infrastracture.

Recently the Kitwe City Council destroyed these vegetables in Ndeke area. These traders according to Zambezi reporters sell these sewer vegetables in any of the markets dotted round Kitwe and sometimes they do walk-abouts in our residential areas.

I thinks it's disgusting to use water seeping out of a damaged sweet to grow vegetables. Kudos to the government.
