Quimera, a chimera kitty from Argentina whose face and eyes feature a striking split of two colors, has become a rising star among its feline counterparts.

The mishmash fluffy creature whose face is divided into an orange half with a green eye and a black half with an amber blue eye shares a similar with its predecessor Venus, who became an online sensation in 2012 for her stunning two-faced appearance.

The potpourri look of Quimera is actually a result of a genetic mosaicism, according to the New Republic citing Virginia Papaioannou, a genetics professor from the Columbia University. The professor referred to it as “a fairly straightforward example of X-inactivation mosaicism.”

The gene disorder however, has not prevented the stunner to act like normal cats and most importantly, amass over 50,000 followers on Instagram for its unique face.
