Behold! World's most expensive artwork.

Will you buy an art work for 162 billion naira or 450.3 million U.S. dollars,  well someone just did and has and in the process break the records for the world most expensive artwork.

Leonardo da Vinci painting known as "Salvator Mundi" which means saviour of the world auction at New York Christes beating estimates that was made prior to the auction. The work which date back to 14th century officially becomes the world most expensive artwork unseating Picasso's "Les Femmes d'Alger," which sold for 179.4 million U.S. dollars or 64 billion naira in 2015.

According to reports, the work was previously thought to be a copy of  the famed middle ages painter and was actually sold at an auction for a paltry 45 U.S. dollar. It was later that it was found out to be an orignal Leonardo da Vinci and it was restored and put out for exhibition in various world cities before it was auction in New York.
