There are reports that some petroleum product tankers are on fire at Tafa in Kaduna state along Kaduna/Abuja road.
According to online Hausa publication Rariya who shared the news on their Facebook wall, they reported that Tafa town is a stop over for most tankers driver that are enroute to or from Kaduna to other parts of the country.
According to them, some drivers that regularly ply that particular road to Abuja now make a detour and pass through Jere because of the raging fire.
As of the time of this reports, it could not be ascertained if their is any casualties and the extent of the damages caused by the fire is not yet known.
