Tragic! 2 family member killed in fatal road accident on their way to bury their mother.

It was weeping and gnashing of teeth when family members that were on their way to bury their matriarch lost 2 members of the family in a fatal road accident in Oghara Delta state. They died when the vehicle they were travelling in to bury their dead mother had an accident at Oghara bridge.

According to Sapele Oghenek who posted the tragic story on his Facebook wall, he said that family members of 90 year old dead woman were travelling when one of the vehicle which was carrying some immediate family members comprising mostly of grandchildren and some sympathizes had an accident. One of the grandchild of the woman died on the spot along with her friend and many were seriously injured.

The accident was a result of the bad state of the road, which reported was riddled with potholes and has been in disrepair for a long time.

He alleged that as those that were injured were taking to a teaching hospital- he didn't specify which- the medical personnel demanded for money before they could start treatment. He called on the Delta state government to fix the road to avoid further unnecessary death.
