While Nigerians are buying tomatoes at a very expensive rate now, some person are crushing tons of fresh tomatoes in a festival in South Korea.

Tomatoes 🍅 flood the streets of South Korea during festival

You don’t have to travel far to Spain’s Tomatina Festival just for tomato throwing now. In Hwacheon, Gangwon Province in South Korea, the Tomato Festival just kicked off on Friday.

The four-day event invited participants to crush a total of 83 tons of tomatoes.

As one of the activities, five gold rings were hidden in the pool of tomatoes for the lucky ones to discover and take home.
