Popular Catholic televangelist priest resign from the church.

A popular Nigerian Catholic televangelist priest Rev Father Henry Edet has just resigned. In a post shared by Aniekeme Finbarr he wrote,  Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Patrick Henry Edet has resigned from the catholic priesthood, quits the Catholic Church.

He says he should be addressed as Reverend Patrick Edet. And on a lighter note, he says he can still be called Fr.

"From Today Henceforth, I cease to be a Catholic Priest, in my spirit and in my soul... I forgive those who will criticize me, I live for God...I seek freedom for my soul. As I leave, I leave smiling, i am so happy that i am free.

Some of the persons that  commented on thread were shocked by his decision to leave the Catholic church and express worry that things are not right while some are total indifferent.  Some person say they saw it coming as they say his ways are not that of Catholics. One Odot Umoren wrote, I had the feelings this could happen....
If you hear him preaching on the TV.. If not been told or his name displayed on the TV screen u wouldn't ever think he is a Catholic priest.

Some comment are so hilarious and the caputured the trend in most Pentecostals churches now. "Now he'll make money n buy private jet..... I envy him", wrote Andrew Inyang.

Some persons prayed for him and wish him well in his future endeavour.
