2 Ghanaian nurse fired for doing "Facebook live" on duty ignoring patients.

Two Ghanaian nurses were fired for ignoring patients to go live on Facebook while at work. The nurses, Tracy Ewurama Marvel and Ramatu who were employed as health assistants at the MMR hospital, claimed they had no knowledge their conduct was against hospital rules.

After their Facebook live video went viral and was shared by Ghanaian news publication, Adom FM, on their Facebook page, the management of the Royal MMR Hospital, where the two nurses worked, decided to fire them.

Confirming the incident, Dr. Mohammed Donkor, told Adom News that the two had been fired by the management of the hospital, as their conduct was in breach of company regulations.
