A young man who hails from Awo-Omama in Oru East LGA of Imo state was given the beating of his life by angry youths of Umuaku village in Ogbaku, Mbaitoli LGA when he was caught stealing electric cables.
The community youths led by their leaders taught the electric cable thief the lesson of his life as he was left bloodied by the angry youth who attributed their lack of constant electricity supply to the menace of cable thief like the man they caught.
Their communities have in recent times witnessed massive pilfering of the electric wire's ranging from cables and all sorts of wires, thereby paralyzing electricity supply to the community.
