Have you heard of a show where people are rewarded for having the dirtest apartment. Well, British people got one and a  college teen has been given a title for having the dirtest apartment after a stiff competition where she beat other hopefuls. Read her stunning story.

Student Brittani Cooper has been handed the dubious honour of living in the dirtiest student digs in the country.

And the 19-year-old has her dad to thank – because he told her she should enter the competition to find the grubbiest student house in Britain with pictures of her house in Bristol.

There is little doubt the real estate student faced some stiff opposition, but pictures showing the house she shares with five housemates won the judges over.

They show rubbish piled up in overflowing bins, pizza boxes thrown on the floor and dirty kitchen equipment left on the counter.

Brittani, from Longlevens, Gloucestershire, said her dad noticed the competition had been launched, adding: ‘He sent me the link to the article as a joke because he knew that my housemates and I didn’t exactly keep our flat the tidiest during the past year.

‘I decided it was worth entering with some images of our very messy kitchen, and now I’m so happy I did.’

Why is she so happy? Well, the first-year student at the University of the West of England won £500 prize money for winning the competition run by web-blinds.com.

She added: ‘My dad is now saying he wants to share the money 50/50 with me, but that won’t be happening.

‘I’m going to use it towards decorating my new student house for my second year. I’m aiming to keep my new home a lot cleaner
