Armed gang attack Diamond bank in Owerri.

A group of armed robbers has invaded a branch of Diamond bank in Owerri Imo state capital. The hoodlums in their numbers attacked the bank with highly sophisticated weapons at the early hours of  the morning and made away with an undisclosed sum and leaving some person(s) injured.

The ever busy  Douglas road branch which is situated opposite "AMA AWUSA" market became a cinema house to many passerby. Business activities at the branch were equally grounded.

Few minutes later, the police authority in their numbers arrived the scene, and an investigation is still on going in anticipation to apprehend the men of the underworld and bringing them to book.
