Popular fruit garden in Port-Harcourt razed by fire.

The popular fruit and vegetable garden in the D-line part of Port-Harcourt was yesterday night razed by fire. The fire reportedly started around 9pm and nobody knows the cause of the fire.

Meanwhile, the governor of the Rivers state Barrister Nyesom Wike who visited the fruit garden with members of his executive has expressed sadness over the inferno and promised to rebuild the market and assist traders who were affected.
