Gas explosion killed and injured many in Lafia, Nasarawa state capital.

It's a black Monday in Lafia, Nassarawa state capital when a gas explosion killed unknown number of persons and injured others.

The heavy gas explosion occurred in Natson filling station, opposite Sandaji filling station and police clinic. Adjacent B division junction in Lafia. Jos road.

According to eyewitness, the incident was caused by the impatience of a bike rider who defied a road block after a gas leakage.

It was gathered that the leakage was from a gas truck offloading its content and all vehicles, bikes and passersby were stop from passing through the road.

However, an impatient bike man outsmarted the fire service/security personnel. But while passing through, the bike ignited fire which killed many.
