Police shot a man during a peaceful protest in Kogi state.
In a video that is making the rounds on social media and was even shown by media group Sahara Reporters, it show some persons booing senator Dino Melaye when he visited his constituency.
We thought it was just ordinary boo but never knew it involved the police and it was alleged that they shot and kill a man in the process.
According to Usman who posted it on his facebook wall, he alleged that a man who came out to support Dino Melaye yesterday was shot by police in Kogi. This is what he wrote,
'Shot by the Nigeria Police in Kogi state under the authority. This young man came out to pledge his support for Senator Dino Melaye.
May his soul rest in peace. The protest was very peaceful until their thugs and Police came and made it violent. See Kabba yesterday, nothing like this happened. Bello doesn't like peace'.
