A step-mother in the northern city of Kano have been arrested after it was found out that she locked up her step-children in a room to starve to death
The children who are 3 were freed when watchful neighbours got to know about the incidence and forcefully rescued the kids from their step-mother.
The kids were reportedly locked up in a room by their step-mother to starve to death. It is alleged that this occurred after the children's dad, traveled out of the state for an event.
The Kano State Police Command has already stepped into the case.
