A nine year old boy known as Clinton has allegedly been arrested by divisional police officers in Asaba, Delta state in place of his mother according to an online report.
According to the person that posted it on his Facebook wall he wrote, His mother got into a fight with a neighbour . The neighbour called the police and the mother ran away.
Divisional Police Officers arrested Clinton in place of his mother.
Clinton is currently behind bars and refused bail by the Investigating Police Officer.
Her words "We can't release the little boy until we see his mother".
Do the law permit such actions by the Police? he asked.
