Unknown man hangs himself in Niger state.

The police have confirmed the death of an unidentified man whose body was found hanging on a tree in Gusase Village, Bosso Local government Area of Niger state.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Niger, DSP Bala Elkana, confirmed the incident in Minna on Monday.

Elkana said that the deceased had no form of identification on him and was found dead, hanging from a tree.

He said that the deceased must have committed suicide, adding that the reasons behind his death had yet to be discovered by the police.

“The deceased had a rope around his neck, which tells that he must have committed suicide,” he said.
