A doctor working in a local hospital in Aba eastern Nigerian has taken to his Facebook wall to share a picture of a baby he helped in delivering and a mound of fibroid removed from the woman placed next to the baby.

Dr Eric Ojeh said its his Christmas gift. He wrote, My Christmas gift, just finished a case, a woman with a fibroid weighing 9.8kg with baby weighing 1.8kg. This happened at Nigerian Christian hospital Aba.

Former chief of Defence staff Alex Badeh killed by unknown gunmen.

Former Chief of Defence Staff Air Chief marshal Alex Badeh is dead.

According to Ibikunle Daramola, spokesman of the Nigerian Air Force, who made the announcement on Twitter late on Tuesday night, Badeh died from gunshot wounds he sustained when his vehicle was attacked while returning from his farm along Abuja-Keffi Road.

“It is with a heavy heart that I regretfully announce the unfortunate demise of former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, who died today, 18 Dec 18, from gunshot wounds sustained when his vehicle was attacked while returning from his farm along Abuja-Keffi Road,” he said.

“On behalf officers, airmen and airwomen of the Nigerian Air Force, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Abubakar, commiserates with the family of the late former Chief of Defence Staff over this irreparable loss. We pray that the Almighty God grants his soul eternal rest.”

Bade was CDS between January 2014 and July 2015, after earlier serving as Chief of Air Staff between October 2012 and January 2014.

Man arrest a fake blind beggar in Warri, Delta state.

Facebook user Joshua Omorere has taken to his page to narrate how he arrested a fake blind woman from Imo state who came to hustle in Warri, Delta state. He warned members of the public to stop giving money to some of these fake beggars. Read him.

Stop giving beggers money mostly those women from the eastern part of Nigeria that goes about as blind people, none of them are blind. They comes to Warri from the east mostly from IMO state to hussle in Warri as blind.

I have severally warn this particular woman and some others at Jakpa junction but they refused to desist from this ugly trade. I had to formally report them to the Police at Ebrumede, on the 12th of December 2018 at about quarter to 11am I storm Jakpa junction with police officers to arrest her.

Although some were very smart to have escape but luck ran against this woman, at first herself and her daughter were crying and the Police officers were just contemplating whether to continue the arrest or leave her because they were convince the woman is blind but I insist.

On getting to the station ,one other Police man threatening to put tear gas in her eyes, it was then she owe up that she is not blind.

 Her name according to her is Ada Nwachukwu ,she came to Warri to hussle from Orlu in IMO state. Let's not encourage these women by giving them money, none of them are blind. I mean none of them are blind. They make a minimum of five thousand naira daily, as at when she was arrested she had made N3,270.

12 year old girl recused from her mother who want to use her for rituals.

Wonder they say shall never cease, when you think you've heard it all, another hits you like a thunder out of the blues.

A mother has been caught while trying to sell her 12 year old daughter to ritualist in Oghara Ethiope East local government area of Delta state.

In an incredible story share on their Facebook wall, Sapele Oghenek wrote that the said mother lured her daughter to an incomplete building where she intends to kill her and hand her over her body parts to the ritualist.

She was in the process of cutting off her daughter's head when the screams of the girl drew the attention of the neighbours who quickly came to her rescue.

She was arrested and handed over to the police while her daughter was rushed to a hospital. Meanwhile, the police have arrested the would be buyer of the parts of the girl and he's cooling his heads in the police station.

Fake alert, lady duped of over a 400 thousand by man that gave her fake bank alert.

A lady that goes by the name Sandra Joe has taken to a popular Facebook group to share a story of how a man duped her over four hundred thousand naira when he sent her a fake bank alert.

So i was at the office today eating when three well-dressed men walked in,they said they needed 10 pieces of INFINIX HOT6X and each phone cost 48,050.

I was over-joyed that my xmas go dey soft little did i know that the devil was laughing at me....I started writing reciepts and when it was time for payment,i gave them our boss's Zenith bank account to make the transfer since they didnt  come with cash buh the transfer wasnt successful,so the sales girl who was banking with Fidelity gave them her own  account number to run the transfer and boooom an alert entered indicating that the money has been transferred successfully.

I now sent the girl to withdraw the money as the customers left buh lo and behold the money didn't reflect on the girl's account and that was how i was duped today 482,500 which means the alert was flashing and not real..Now i will be paying for an avoidable mistake...

Please you all should stay woke this festive period so that no one will feel the pain that i am feeling now..

A man who couldn't kill his wife after chasing her with cutlass has strangled to death all his children at the same time burnt their 2 room apartment and later hanged himself. The incident happened in Eleme Rivers state.

2 suspected teen cultist arrested by the police in Onitsha Anambra state.

Anambra police command have arrested 2 suspected teen cultist in Awada, Onitsha for stealing a mobile phone from a resident .

On the 9/12/2018 at about 7:10 pm, Police patrol team attached to Awada Division responded to a distress call at Gaius Street, Awada where a group of suspected cultists were operating and arrested one Osai Ikechukwu 'm' aged 18years of Akabogwu Street Awada and Ikenna Ofonaya 'm' aged 17years of Alex Aja Street, Awada respectively.

Suspects allegedly  robbed one Ofor Odinaka 'm' of Nwazike Street Awada of his GSM phone.

Exhibits recovered in their possession include Axe,complimentary card of Supreme Vikings Awalina and other incriminating items.

Meanwhile, the suspects  have confessed to be members of Junior vickings (JVC) cult group.

Case under investigation after which suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution.
