17-year old boy hanged himself in Imo state.

This boy of about 17 was reportedly found hanging from a mango tree in Okohia community, isiala Mbano LGA of Imo state this morning.

As of the time of filling this report details on what may have lead a young boy that is so full of life to commit suicide is still unknown. Also nobody knows if there's any foul play.  

Police officers have been called to the scene to determine the series of events that probably lead him to take his own life.

This 37- year old Ugandan woman have given birth to astonishing 38 children.

This 37 years old Ugandan woman, Mariam Nabatanzi Babirye, has given birth to 38 children, astonishing is it. The number of children she bore had prompted the  villagers to give her the nickname, Nalongo Muzaala Bana, which means "the twin mother who produces quadruplets."

Mariam has six sets of twins, four sets of triplets, three sets of quadruplets and two single births. While having so many children is a surprise for many, it is not so for Mariam, who says there is precedence in her family.

In a recent interview with a Ugandan daily, she said: “My father gave birth to 45 children with different women and [they] all came in quintuplets, quadruplets, twins and triplets."

Dr Charles Kiggundu, a gynecologist at Mulago Hospital confirms that Mariam may have taken after her father, as her case may be genetic. He said: “Her case is genetic predisposition to hyper-ovulate (releasing multiple eggs in one cycle), which significantly increases the chance of having multiples."

Mariam said she was married off at an early age and she gave birth for the first time at the age of 13 to twins. She said she sought medical advice several times in a bid to stop having children but doctors advised her that since she produces so many eggs, it would be dangerous to her health.

However, Dr Kiggundu said Mariam was not well advised, because doctors could easily have performed tubal ligation as a permanent method of contraception. Moreover, Mariam has a non-supportive husband who is rarely there for her and her children. .

Her eldest son, Charles Musisi, 23, confirmed: “Our siblings do not know what father looks like. I last saw him when I was 13 years old and only briefly at night because he rushed off again." As a parting shot, Mariam advised parents to never sell their children off to early marriage and men to look after their wives and children.

Shocking: Nigeria man shot dead in Cape town South Africa. Graphic picture.

It is so sad to announce the murder of Mr Chinedu Eze Tony.

According to an eye witness, he was shot dead at close range by unknown gun men at Belleville, Cape Town yesterday 25th day off April, 2017 at about 6/7pm.

He was a self employed cellular and electronics vendor and he lives in Good wood.

He was from Umuchu in Aguata LGA in Anambra State. Investigation is going on at murder scene.

He is survived by a daughter Ijeoma.

31- year old female police officer commits suicide because her lover dumped her.

A 31-year Constable in the Ghanian police, Peace Agbemafo have committed suicide because her lover  jilted her.

The Garu-Tempane District Police Commander ASP Alexander Tieku who confirmed this to news men said “This is about the second time she has been jilted by someone. Somebody promised to marry her but later disappointed her and she killed herself. We have informed the family and we are waiting for them to come so we conduct the post mortem and convey the body to the police hospital mortuary in Accra for preservation”.

According to him, the  deceased officer has been with them for four years and said that her colleagues are grief-stricken over her death.

Peace Agbemefo who was supposed to have been on duty at the GN Bank in Garu on Monday morning but was rather booked at the police station around 6:30am killed herself using an AK47 assault rifle

Manager of GN Bank, Haruna Abdul Fataw, said he was compelled to call the district commander to request for a police officer after Peace failed to turn up.

A young girl who was a beneficiary of the police officer, later found Peace Agbemefo in a pool of blood in her room, a few metres from the Garu Tempane Police Station.

She apparently shot herself in the throat.

Also, a knife was found on the floor of the room with a noose hanging from the ceiling.

Nigerian Uber driver robbed a South African lady of 1 million naira

So this South African lady with Twitter handle Smakiglam was robbed by an Uber driver at Lagos. She took to her instagram and Twitter page to narrate her experience. This is what she wrote,

I just got robbed by a taxify and uber diver In Nigeria @Taxify_ng @Uber now I am stranded no passport. He took my whole bag.

The uber driver later contacted her and was asking for a safe place to drop her belongings- excluding the money of course. He promise that he will contact her and pay every kobo he steals from her once he get out of the country. This is the conversation with him as shared by the lady.

The guy later drop her passports at a safe place, this is what the lady wrote, Thank God he dropped my passport at a safe place. Later with the help of Uber and suggestions of other Nigerians the driver was arrested. She shared it also on Twitter.

Shocking: Man stabs wife to death in Lagos state.

Punch newspapers is reporting that residents of Solar Power Drive, Igbo Olomu, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State were left in shock after a landlord in the community, Omolaja Sodipo, allegedly stabbed his wife, Titilayo to death.

Sympathisers, friends and family members of the mother of four, trooped to their bungalow on Monday, where Titilayo laid in a pool of blood.

The husband was said to have fled the scene.

Community leaders reportedly alerted policemen from the Owutu division, who removed the corpse and deposited it in a mortuary.

Although most of the neighbours refused to comment on the tragedy, it was gathered that the couple had been married for over seven years.

The relationship was said to be fraught with disagreements, which usually resulted in domestic violence.

A resident, who did not want to be identified, said the disagreements always bordered on the welfare of their four children.

He said, “They came into this community some years ago after building their house. The man, who was formerly dealing in telephone accessories, had been jobless for some time. His wife worked with a private school after giving birth to their fourth child two years ago.

“But they were always at loggerheads, which led to the man beating up the wife. The man is short-tempered and it appeared the frustration of his joblessness also got into him. We always heard their voices anytime they were quarrelling.

“Last night, we heard them fighting again. In the morning, we discovered that the woman had been stabbed in different parts of her body. She was lying lifeless in a pool of blood.”

A community leader, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the victim’s mother lamented that her daughter had been complaining  that her husband was always beating her.

A female resident, who did not want to be identified, said that she sighted the suspect walking away from the house around 8am.

A member of the Women Arise for Change Initiative, Obatungashe Adebayo, who spoke for the President, Dr Joe Oke-Odumakin, called for justice for the deceased, urging women in violent relationship to quit before it was too late.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole,  said, “We are still searching for the man.  The woman’s corpse has been deposited in a morgue for autopsy.”

University student raped 10-year old girl to death in Ghana.

A 300 Level student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology , Ghana has reportedly raped a ten-year - old girl to death.

The student was said to have anally raped the girl for over three years, damaging her anus and feeding her with a cocktail of painkillers which caused her kidneys to fail, killing her.

Reports from Ghanaian online news media said the young man was arrested on Tuesday after the girl was taken to the hospital following her complaints of pains in her anus.

Medical tests at the hospital showed she had been sodomised, and revealed damages to her intestines and kidney.

The young man is reported to have given the 10- year -old girl eight tablets of paracetamol to kill the pains anytime he has sexual intercourse with her through the anus.

He is also reported to have warned the girl not to reveal his sexual encounters with her to anyone or else she will die.

Catholic priest house ransacked by soldiers for weapons in Benue state. Pictures.

A Catholic priest in the service of Diosese of Gboko Father Benjamin Vesuwe had taken to Facebook to narrate how the Nigerian military allegedly stormed his house- which is the parish house- and turned it upside down saying there are looking for weapons that he's hiding in his house.

In his words, "Today my house and the entire parish was turned inside out by the military in-search for weapons. They say I keep weapons, for heaven sake, I don't do weapon. The Fulani herdsmen go about with heavy weapons killing innocent people and never a day has any one of them been harassed by the military. There are instances where the military have even assisted them to carry out their attacks on Defenseless citizens. The soldiers we have in this country are one sided. Why are they trying to divide the very country they are called to defend on religious line. Would they have done this to an Imam or the mosque?

A multiple suicide bombing attack was foiled earlier today in Maiduguri by eagle-eyed Civilian Joint task force Operatives (CJTF).

Horror: See what they did to this man that was caught stealing in Sapele.

This man with tire on him was caught in Sapele early this morning when he broke into a compound with the intention to steal. According to Sapele Oghenek who posted this on his Facebook wall, he said his name is Justice Hitler - what a name - and he was caught at MTN road at Okirighwre when he and another of his gang member named Ovoke broke into a compound in the area.

Report has it that this is the fourth time he and his gang has broken into the said compound. He was caught with a fake gun. Resident of the area put tire on him with the intention of burning him but some persons intervened and he was handed over to the vigilante in the area who in turn handed him over to the police for further investigation.
