O My God! what kind of erosion is this? This erosion has gone out of hand and uncontrollable, is this not the erosion that I used to know which is far away from people's house last year, and just with this few raindrop this year the erosion goes so far that no one can imagine.
I mean all the houses, properties nearby and some fences had fell inside the erosion, but I thank God no life is lost because all the people living there had vacate to neighboring towns.
this erosion now is no other than old Ikpanwangugwu express road in Isiokpo/Akpulu, Ideato north L.G.A Imo State.
According to history, this erosion you are seeing in the picture is an express road that our fore fathers are using to travel to Onitsha in Anambra State, the Old Ikpanwangwugwu express road is an interconnected straight road that led from Akokwa-Isiokpo-Akpulu-Oneh-Nnewi to onitsha in Anambra state which is called old ikpanwaogwugwu Express way.
Please I am hereby pleading with the federal government, state government, house of assembly, house of Representatives and local government chairman of Ideato North L.G.A. to come for our aid because if care is not taken before the end of this rainy season Uranyiri village in Isiokpo will pack out to another town for safety.
