46 year old man hanged himself in Akwa-Ibom state

A 46 year old man by name Aniekan Peter Sunday committed suicide in his house in Otomo community, Ika LGA of Akwa Ibom state in the early morning of today.

Nobody really know what made him to kill himself. According to the village head Chief Sunday Thomas Mbaba he said that
early this morning a youth from his community by name Philip came to his compound and informed him of what happened.

He went to the police station to report to the DOP about the unfortunate incident.

The DOP of Ika Division, Sir Musa Rilwanu followed them to the scene for confirmation and further investigations.

According to the youths and the women of the said community, Aniekan happens to be the only surviving son of his family. His father died recently and will be buried this Friday.
