See what smugglers did to an operative of Nigerian customs.

An operative of Nigerian customs service was recently butchered in the cause of carrying out his duties by some daredevil smugglers. In a post shared on their Facebook page, Nigerian customs says that it's is bringing to the notice of the general public one of the many challenges they face in their day to day operation.

They wrote, picture of a Customs Officer Macheted by the dare devil Smugglers while performing his duty. This is one of the hazard of the job, but often times not much is said about the wonded or killed operatives.

What was this all about?
Officers were trying to intercept vehicles been smuggled through the creek. (see pictures).
