Check out these stunning life like art by Chinese artist.

Do you think that’s goldfish swimming around in the fishbowl in the picture? If you do, you are tricked just like the little kitty. Believe it or not, the vivid scene is actually the three-dimensional resin painting created by a 25-year-old Chinese artist Zhao Jiahui, who lives in Xi’an in northwest China’s Shaanxi Province.

Zhao graduated from the Department of Oil Painting at Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts in 2016. Because there was no relevant expert or tutorials in resin painting, he started to learn it on his own after graduation. Zhao has since recruited more than 200 students and applied for a national patent for his fish works.

It often takes Zhao about 30 days to finish one painting. The time-consuming process involves delineating the bowls, filling numerous layers of resin and painting the detailed creatures. Each piece consists of more than 20 layers, and just one little mistake can ruin the entire piece.

Zhao’s fascinating art was too realistic to convince the buyers on an art website. He then put his painting process on video and it soon went viral.
