Military dog refused to eat when he noticed that his trainer is leaving.

Li Xiang, a member of China International Search and Rescue Team, kissed his military dog and best friend Xue Bao, a sniffer dog, before retiring from the army last week.

Li has served in the army for 16 years. During those years, he trained Xue Bao from an ordinary dog to a military one. They bonded strongly through years of training and rescue missions.

Xue Bao refused to eat or drink when Li was packing his luggage. It seemed like the dog felt Li would not come back. Could not bear to leave, Li walked Xue Bao and fed him for the last time.

Li saluted Xue Bao, expressing his farewell to his four-legged comrade and embraced the end of his military career.
