PDP chairman of Ward 16 in Ogbogoro Obio-Akpor local government area of Rivers state Bobuo Ihuigwe who is popularly known as Heaven has been assisinated by unknown persons.
He was kidnapped and his body was later found in Rumuekini in the same local government area.
As a result of the murder, some youth of Ogbogoro community have attacked the Rumuekini on Sunday. According to Facebook user Wisdom Sagess Stephen, he said that some youth went on rampage destroying properties and cars.
He wrote, Ogbogoro youths fighting and destroying properties here in Rumuekini, a lot of cars are destroyed, shops are being looted, but kudos to the Nigerian Police for their quick response which I presume will calm the situation down.
