Passengers escaped death as United airline fight caught fire while landing.
United Airlines flight landed at Denver airport on Sunday with one of its engines on fire.
No one was injured and all passengers were evacuated safely, Denver International Airport said.
Pictures on social media showed the Bombardier jet on the tarmac, with the left engine in flames. United Airlines said the SkyWest Airlines flight 5869 from Aspen Colorado "experienced engine issues" after landing safely.
"All 59 passengers and crew members safely deplaned the aircraft and were transported to the terminal," it said.
Denver International Airport said the fire was being investigated.
"All runways are now open as investigation into SkyWest fire continues. Other airport operations remain unaffected," it said.
One passenger, who tweeted a picture of the plane, said the engine caught fire after landing.
"Quick and immediate response. First responders on the runway. Huge thanks to pilot and crew for helping get passengers off safe," the passenger said.
Rabia Chaudry, an author, also tweeted pictures from the tarmac, adding: "All safe."
SkyWest Airlines, a regional carrier, is feeder airline has contracts with major companies including United Airlines, American Airlines, and Delta Air Lines.
