Towncrier online is reporting that Gani ‘Elese’, the leader of an Owo-based deadly cult gang has been killed in a gun battle with the police, at his hideout at Jugbere Camp, a farmstead sharing boundary with the Ondo state forest reserve.
Before his death, Gani was said to have claimed responsibility for series of killings in Owo and surrounding communities.
