2 died and another 2 seriously injured when a bus hit okada in Anambra state.

2 persons were crushed to death while another 2 was rushed to hospital for treatment and in a critical condition when a bus hit a motorcycle in Anambra state.

The fatal accident happened in Osumenyi and according to facebook user Ifenna who shared the picture on his well, he doubt the possibility of those taken to hospital surviving.

Swaziland monarch renames his country eSwatini.

Swaziland's King Mswati III, Africa's last absolute monarch, said on Thursday he was officially renaming the country as the Kingdom of eSwatini.

He announced the change to eSwatini, meaning "land of the Swazis", in the local Swati language at Golden Jubilee celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Swazi independence and of his 50th birthday.

The king has referred to the "Kingdom of eSwatini" several times in recent years - in an address to the UN General Assembly in 2017 and at African Union and other international conferences

Truck rammed into a building injuring a woman in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state

A heavy truck has failed brake and rammed into a building injuring a woman in Rivers state.

The incident was said to have happened in Akpajo area of Port-Harcourt near the state primary school.

9 year old girl fell from a 3 storey building in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state.

A 9-year-old girl identified as Chidera, survived after falling from a 3-storey building following a misstep while playing with her friends. The tragic event was said to have occurred on Wednesday, 11 April 2018.

The girl fell from a 3 storey building located at 3B Ekwe Street, Mile 3 Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The parents were said to have left her with other children for their various business before the accident occurred.

According to the girl’s friends, she ran from inside passage to outside corridor, where she accidentally pushed the building protector off - causing her to fall freely from the building.

The girl was rushed to the nearby private hospital for treatment.

"Armed robbers came to our compound, robbed and shot some occupants by they didn't come to my apartment" says Facebook user.

Facebook user, designer and blogger Ogechi Glogeworld Enemechukwu has taken to her page to share a story about her sister whose compound was attacked twice by armed robbers but her apartment was spared.

Read the incredible account, Armed robbers visited my sister's compound two days ago. She said, "I was sleeping when they came to the compound, they vandalized all the apartments except mine, beat the tenants that doesn't have money for them, and shot one of the guy's in the compound. I woke up in the morning, I over heard people crying, and screaming, for help because the guy they shot was bleeding. I asked what happened, the neighbors thought something was wrong with me, they told me how robbers invaded the compound. Omg! I was sleeping and I didn't hear any noise. Last night, armed robbers came again, I saw them standing in front of my apartment and fainted. They vandalized other apartment, they didn't enter my house.  The picture of the apartment with that burglary is next to my apartment."

Currently, my sister said she has been purging since after the incident. Please, help me say a prayer for my sister, the guy they shot two days ago, and other tenants in her compound.

We lack everything in my country no security, no light, no water, no good road. They use our money to sponsor kids abroad and buy luxurious properties.

Young man and father of one killed in a clash between rival cults in Delta state.

A young man identified as Ube who belong to the Viking's confraternity was hacked to death by members of a the rival cult group right inside his car, along Cross and Stop bus stop Udu Road, Delta State yesterday.

Ugandan president move to ban citizens from having oral sex.

Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni has issued what he calls a "public warning" against oral sex.

The president claims the practice has been pushed on Ugandans by "outsiders," and argues that the mouth is solely for eating.

"Let me take this opportunity to warn our people publicly about the wrong practices indulged in and promoted by some of the outsiders," he told the press during an address.

"One of them is what they call oral sex. The mouth is for eating, not for sex. We know the address of sex, we know where sex is," he continued.

Man stabbed to death by his wives while trying to separate their fight.

A man was, this morning, stabbed to death by one of his wives, while trying to separate their fight at their home in Dirdeu, Adamawa State.

According to Abdulrahman Njidda Yebb, who was a witness, Adamu Dewa was stabbed by his first wife of 20 years, Hauwa.

It was gathered that the mother of 5 had always threatened Adamu with death on several occasions, accusing him of favouritism and unequal treatment between her and the second wife.

Former U.S. first lady Barbara Bush dies at 92.

Barbara Bush, the former US first lady and literacy campaigner, has died at the age of 92.

She was the matriarchal figure of a political dynasty that included two presidents - her husband George HW Bush and son George W Bush.

Mrs Bush, who was first lady from 1989 to 1993, had been in failing health for some time and had declined further medical treatment.

Barbara and George Bush were married for 75 years.

Swaziland king orders widows to remove their mourning gowns to celebrate his 50th birthday.

Swaziland monarch King Mswati III has ordered widows to immediately remove their mourning gowns so that they can take part in his 50th birthday celebrations.

Swaziland tradition has it that a widow must wear a mourning gown for two years after the death of her husband and then go through a cleansing ceremony.

Acting Ludzidzini governor Lusendvo Fakudze, who is known as the voice of the King, has ordered all widows to remove their mourning gowns with immediate effect.

The King, who rules Swaziland as sub-Saharan Africa's last absolute monarch, celebrates his 50th birthday on Thursday 19 April 2018.

So-called 50/50 Celebrations are planned on that day to mark his birthday and also the 50th anniversary of Swaziland's Independence from Great Britain that falls on 6 September 2018.

Shocking! Pregnant woman killed in a fatal road accident in Imo state.

A young woman identified as Oluchi Sylverline Nzurike was killed in a fatal car accident on Sunday, in Isinweke Ihitte/Uboma local government area of Imo State.

The young woman said to be pregnant reportedly died on the spot. Her corpse has been deposited at a nearby hospital mortuary.

Friends and family members have taken to Facebook to mourn her death.

Taxi driver returns passengers phone and rejects 10k gift.

A honest taxi driver returned a phone and envelope containing large amount of cash to its owner identified as "Martin Nworah".

Sharing his experience on Facebook, Mr Nworah Wrote:

"This taxi driver renewed my faith in people once again. I forgot my phone and an envelope containing a big chunk of money in his taxi. After running around and finally locating him, he delivered the phone and envelope with everything intact.

When I tried to give him 5k to appreciate him because of the amount involved, he refused. I thought the money was small. So I apologized and increased it to 10k. He took out 1k from the money and returned 9k to me. He insisted I don't need to pay him for doing the right thing.

I don't know how else to appreciate him than to bring it here. If you're good, don't lose hope. There are so many other people who are trying their best too to redeem our humanity.
