Unknown gunmen shot dead APC chairmanship candidate in Delta state

Suspected assassins have killed an All Progressives Congress, APC Chairmanship candidate, Jeremiah Ogboveta in Delta state.

Ogboveta was until his death, the chairmanship candidate for Jeremi Ward III in Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state. Security agencies revealed that the incident occurred earlier today.

Check out what soldiers did to these guys for daring to ask for refund of house rent from landlord.

Three tenants were, this morning, flogged at Lekki Palm City Estate, Ajah, by soldiers acting on the orders of their landlord, one Majuka Nnamdi Emmanuel.

Trouble reportedly started after a tenant identified as Ayo, demanded for a refund of his N1.3m rent, following a robbery attack on his house, just days after moving in.

He allegedly reported the robbery case at the Alagbon police station but nothing came out of the investigation. Feeling unsafe, he contacted the agent for a refund of the remainder of his rent, asking him to deduct the cost of the days he had spent in the house.

The agent delivered the message to the landlord, but Majuka refused, insisting that he can't get a refund except someone else moves in and then he can partly refund Ayo. The argument for a refund went on for some time.

However, to the surprise of the tenants, they woke up today to the presence of their landlord and some soldiers who ordered them out and beat them mercilessly. The soldiers only stopped after one of the tenants fainted and had to be rushed to the hospital.

Corps member drown in a river while taking selfie in Bayelsa state

A yet to be named corps member has died after falling inside the river while trying to take a selfie in Bayelsa State.

It was gathered that the incident happened yesterday in Ogbolomaibiri, Nembe.

The deceased was said to be trying to take a selfie at the top of a jetty when he slipped and fell inside the river. His corpse was recovered about 30 minutes later.

35 year old lady burnt to death in a fire accident in Delta state.

A 35 years old young lady at has lost her life when the house she's staying was engulfed by a night fire outbreak in Oghara, Delta state.

The lady who was identified as Kate Otu  lives along the ever busy Scott road and do her business there as well.

She was said to be a black market vendor of petroleum products and she lit a candle and put close to a gallon of fuel unknown to her.

Fire fighters were said to have arrived very late.

A 300 Level Biology Education student Kano State University of Science and Technology (KUST) in Wudil, has drowned at the Wudil River.

The incident occurred late Wednesday evening when three students of the University broke through the fence and went swimming. One of them, Farouk Abubakar, got drowned in the course, while the other two were rescued.

Murder! Lagos lawyer stabs her lawyer husband to death in Lagos state.

A lady has allegedly stabbed her husband to death, before stabbing herself too at Diamond estate Sangotedo Ajah, Lagos state.

According to reports, trouble started around 10pm, last night, between Mr and Mrs Otike-Odibe over property issues. The couple, both lawyers, are said to have no children between them, but the man has 3 children from another woman.

Mrs Otike-Odibe was alleged to have insisted that all the husband’s properties must be willed to her, a demand that didn’t go down well with the husband. It was also gathered that there have been issues of infidelity on the part of the wife.

According to an insider, after the wife stabbed Mr. Otike-Odibe to death, she also stabbed herself, she was however rescued and rushed to a hospital where she has since been stabilised.
