Men gang rape German woman in India.

A-38-year-old German tourist was raped by unidentified men in India’s southern state of Tamil Nadu. Police have since confirmed the case.

The crime took place near a beach resort in Mahabalipuram region over 50 km away from state capital Chennai on Sunday morning.

“The tourist had gone for a stroll on the beach and was taking a sunbath at a secluded area when she was attacked,’’ local police inspector Maghita, who uses only one name, said by phone.

“She alleged two men had dragged her into a nearby grove and assaulted her,’’ she added.

Medical reports confirmed the tourist was raped, Maghita said.

Some locals were being questioned by police but no arrests were made yet.

Police say they suspect people staying at beach houses or members of the local fishing community could be behind the crime.

The officials said it had informed the German mission in India about the crime.

The latest major sex crime in India comes a fortnight after a female Irish tourist was raped and murdered in the beach resort state of Goa in March.

Brave dog stop Boko Haram attack at a wedding in Borno state

A brave dog has prevented what might have been a tragic wedding ceremony at Belbelo community, Jere Local Government Area of Borno State. The lucky guest escaped death on Sunday when a female suicide bomber with an  improvised explosive device ( IED) strapped to the body, was prevented from entering the venue of the ceremony by a watchdog.

Borno State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Victor Isuku, said the aborted suicide bomb attack took place at about 7.33pm. The suicide bomber, he explained,  was prevented from entering the venue by a watchdog.

She detonated the IED, killing only herself and the dog.

Shocking: Father impregnate daughter and throw the baby in a well

Daily Post is reporting that a 55-year-old man, Abdulkadir Mohammed have been arrested by members of Nigerian police state in Gamawa local council  area of Bauchi State, along with his 20-year-old daughter for attempted murder.

Mohammed, was also accused of having sex and impregnating his daughter identified as, Dije Abdulkadir.

Dije, as a result of the alleged immoral act with her father, took in and when she put to bed threw the baby into a well.

Addressing reporters in Bauchi, commissioner of police, Garba Umar, said the suspects were arrested by police officers attached to Gamawa Division.

He said, “The suspect gave birth to a baby girl and threw her inside the well with the intent to kill her.

“However, the timely intervention of well-meaning individuals in the area, who helped and rescued the baby alive, saved her life.

“The suspect confessed that her biological father impregnated her and they decided to do away with the baby.

Popular Nsukka masquerade beat Catholic seminarian to coma, Bishop breath fire.

The Bishop of Nsukka Catholic Diocese, Prof. Godfrey Onah, on Sunday condemned the beating of a seminarian into coma by masqueraders popularly called Oriokpa.

Onah  who made the condemnation on Sunday in Nsukka during church service, urged law enforcement agencies to treat masqueraders that block roads, beat, and extort money from people as terrorists and cultists.

“It’s unfortunate that in this 21st century some youths in Nsukka area will cover their face and block roads, beating and extorting money from people who are going about their legitimate businesses in the name of masquerading.

“The security agents should treat these criminals who hide under the guise of masquerade as a culture to harass and harm law-abiding citizens as terrorists and cultists ,” he said.

On March 29 a seminarian serving in Nsukka diocese, Lawrence Ezeugwu, was beaten into coma by a group of masqueraders who blocked the road at Ugwuoyia, Nsukka.

“This is a sacrilege and abomination and the church will ensure that all those involved are brought to book as well as fight to put this evil culture to an end.

“As bishop of the diocese I am ready to lay down my life in fighting to stop this inhumanity to man by masqueraders in Nsukka who block roads and intimidate innocent residents,”he said.

Onah said the matter was immediately reported to the police and police had arrested one of the masqueraders .

He described the Oriokpa masquerade in Nsukka as a cult and a form of idol worship and vowed to deal with any catholic members engaging in masquerading no matter the position of that person in the church.

“The Nsukka Oriokpa masquerade is evil cult and a form of idol worship. anybody engaging in it is worshiping idol,” he said.

Mr Ebere Amaizu, the Enugu state Police Public Relation Officer confirmed the incident and said one of the masqueraders was already in police custody.

“The police in Nsukka have arrested one of the masqueraders that beat and gave a knife cut to a Catholic  seminarian on Wednesday.

“Investigation and efforts are being intensified to ensure that all those involved in that unfortunate incident are arrested and charged to court,” he said.

Mother of a bride died in a road accident on her way to daughters wedding reception.

Daily Post is reporting that a mother of a yet to be identified bride, Saidat Iya Kola has died in a road accident in Ibadan that also killed one other occupant of the vehicle.

The accident involved a sports utility vehicle conveying relatives of yet to be identified couple getting married on Saturday afternoon in Ibadan.

It was reported that the SUV which was among the cars in the convoy conveying the relatives of the couple got involved in the road accident killing the duo on the spot.

The accident it was gathered occurred at Academy Area along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

It was also learnt that the occupants of the SUV were probably on their way to the wedding reception.

Meanwhile, the identity of the second person who also died on the spot of the accident has not been revealed.

3 Boko Haram members killed in a foiled sucide attempt in Borno state.

What would have been a major tragedy was averted Sunday in Borno state when attempt by suspected members to carry out sucide bombing was foiled.

The police confirmed that three  suspected male suicide bombers were killed in separate foiled attacks in Muna and Dusuman village at the outside of Maiduguri.

Mr Victor Isuku the spokesman of the state police command disclosed this in a statement in Maiduguri.

Isuku said that the first incident happened around Muna garage near the entrance of the city when two suspected male bombers were killed.

“Today, at about 0438 hour, two male suicide bombers detonated Improvised Explosive Devised (IED) strapped to their bodies near Alhaji Bukar Gujari Filling station in Muna Garage area at the entrance of Maiduguri.

“All the bombers died instantly without killing anybody,” Isuku said.

He said however that a truck parked nearby was partly damaged by the explosive.

He said that another suspected suicide bomber detonated his IED in Dusuman village killing himself and injuring another person who tried to stopped him.

“Also at Dusuma village in Jere LGA , a suicide bomber detonated IED strapped on him almost at the same time , killing himself, while one person was injured,” Isuku said.

Attacks in Borno have continued unabated in spite claims by the Nigerian military that the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists have been degraded.

Young man kill his mum, drains her blood and flee his village in Abia state.

A man, said to be in his early 20s, has beheaded his mother in Umuchagu Osokwa in Osisioma Ngwa local government of Abia state. He was alleged to have collected her blood and fled the community.


Cecilia Nwanjie, the victim of this wicked act was said to have returned from the farm at about 6.30pm, last Thursday, to meet his son who visited home. After exchanging greetings, Cecilia, according to a community source, went into the kitchen to prepare dinner for the family.


It was learnt that the victim had been living alone since the death of her husband, Nwanjie Onyerionwu, and engaged in menial jobs to make ends meet as her two sons live outside the village.


The second son who carried out the act make sure that there was nobody in their compound before he attacked his mother with a machete and slashed her throat, collected her blood and fled the area.


The source stated that neighbours were attracted to the scene by a loud cry from the Nwanjie compound at about 7.30pm after which the Cecilia’s lifeless body was discovered surrounded with blood soaked items.


A search party was said to have combed the surrounding bushes but the assailant was nowhere to be found and was yet to be seen as of the time of filing this report.

Two men almost lynched in Abia state for stealing motorcycle.

This picture of armed robbers who allegedly stole a motorcycle was shared by Nworie Nwakaego on her Facebook page. She wrote,

'According to reports, the 2 alleged motorcycle thieves were caught while trying to sell their stolen bike for N8,000 at Akara Junction in Isuikwuato Local Government Area Of Abia State.

It was gathered that they stole the bike from Uzuakoli area and came down to Isuikwuato to sell it before they were caught.They were about to be burnt, before Nigerian Police came in and rescued them'.

So today is first of April and in some countries it's know as fools day. Nigerians call it April fool day and it's a day they play pranks on unsuspecting persons. So many persons have fallen for such pranks in the past which may end up in unnecessary bickering when the person at the receiving end is not cut out for such pranks. So it's all about the mischievous people, their victims and the pranks they play.

Okay that's enough about Nigerians and the way they do their thing on the 1st of April. I saw on Twitter this morning a tweet from one of the world biggest passenger carrier Emirates and they showed a picture of unveling of what will supposedly be the biggest airplanes in the world when completed. They named it APR001 capturing the mood of the day.
They wrote on their handle, "Emirates unveil plans for world biggest commercial airplane. The triple decker APR001 includes a swimming pool, games room, gym and park.

This is insane going by the specifications, but trust people to notice immediately that it is all prank. One of their followers @Bankelele quickly wrote, "aah, its not yet midnight" Another said,  'April fool day have already started in earnest i can see" Some of the comments on the thread were quite hilarous.

Happened  just now on Abuja road, by Jere, a ghastly accident involving  a Toyota Highlander jeep and a pick up truck.  The Highlander jeep was on its way to Abuja. All lives were lost.

Police brutality: youths demand for justice for a young trader that died in detention without committing any crime in Lagos..

EXTRA JUDICIAL KILLING OF OKECHUKWU ALBERT BY POLICE.
It may no longer be a news that the above mentioned person and his friend, Alex Ejimofor met their unfortunate situation in the hand of Festac police as they came down from Benin Republic during the weekend when they were about to proceed home.

They made a withdrawal of #10,000 which Okechukwu' mother sent them from ATM In Festac and proceeded to bode a vehicle back to Aguleri. Unfortunately, the Hausa Okada rider left the right route and alighted them at Alakija which had no connectivity to boarding a bus to Onitsha.

They complained to the man that they were traveling to the East and were not even familiar with Festac, which they only branched for making an ATM withdrawal. The Aboki could not listen but demanded a payment from them.

The squable ensued to the extent of attracting the attention of police that control traffic at Alakija bus stop. They radioed their colleagues patrol vehicle, which came and became biased after hearing an Hausa language from the Okada operator. They whisked the poor boys away from the scene after severe hitting with their guns.

On getting to the station, they lied them down under the sun from morning till night. The poor boys demanded for drinking water but they turned it to laughing stock.

The beating of the boys countinued at night to the extent they were handcuffed, hung with their heads upside down. The scenario deteriorated to the extent that Okechukwu Albert gave up at night. While Alex Ejimofor was wounded to the extent that he was comatosed .

In order to cover up, the police hastily charged Alex to court with the allegations that they attempted to steal a Bajaj motorcycle and were mobbed. According to the charge, the police rescued them and on their way to the station, Okechukwu gave up.

We have succeeded in bringing Alex out of kirikiri prison but Okechukwu is in the mortuary. We the Aguleri youth living in Lagos and in diaspora have resolved to employ all the legal means to obtain justice Maka na Ozu odogwu ana atoro na mba. An injustice to one should also mean injustice to all. The move has started and we are believing in God of blessed Tansi of Aguleri, that the culprits must be brought to book.
