Check out what this policeman did to a lady for daring to record him when he's harassing passengers.

" Inspector Lawal Murtala of the Dopemu division Lagos, Nigeria, beat me up today just because i recorded him beating up an innocent man and was dragged to the police station.

I was detained for hours, and the video forcefully deleted of which unknowing to them, i had already forwarded one successfully to my sister via WhatsApp.

Then my phone was smashed and seized. Imagine going to report an assault by a policeman and i get detained instead saying a policeman can do whatever he likes and that videoing a policeman is an offence.

The dpo , a woman was in full support of the policeman, ordered that i get detained saying i wanted to video to post and she will not let that happen. I was detained from 2pm till 7pm. This is INJUSTICE !!!

The police who should protect us are the ones victimising is and this should change. It is not just fair. We all should say no to police brutality." Bibi Anne

My view:

Such men like this ought not to be in our forces.

Police brutality is not done by Ghosts, let's find this one and deal decisively.

May Nigeria Succeed.

Son of Nigerian member of House of Rep shot dead in a latest gun violence in London

The graduate son of a leading Nigerian politician was shot dead near his family’s London home in the latest round of bloodshed in the capital.

Abraham Badru, 26, who was given a police bravery award as a teenager for saving a woman from a sex attack, was gunned down in the street in Dalston, Hackney, just after 11pm on Sunday.

Mr Badru, who worked as a football coach after earning his Masters degree in 2015, was found slumped on the pavement by police called to reports of a loud gunshot.

He was pronounced dead a short time later. His mother, who had rushed to his side, was seen by witnesses collapsed in tears on the pavement.

Mr Badru’s father Dolapo Badru, 62, is a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives, the country’s 360-seat equivalent to the House of Commons.

Mr Badru worked as a football coach after earning his Masters degree in 2015

He told the Standard his “quiet and hard-working” son once saved a young woman from rape on the estate and later gave evidence which led to her attacker being jailed.

He said: “A few years ago a girl was raped on the estate and Abraham fought them off. He went to court to testify against them and the police gave him an award.”

Friends paid tribute to Mr Badru as a “bubbly and outgoing” young man who was “making a life for himself” after completing his studies.

Police at the scene in Dalston following the shooting which took place on Sunday night

They said he had a fiancee in Nigeria and had volunteered with the Team Nigeria UK football coaching charity, and had been due to coach at an open trial in Charlton today.

A volunteer said: “He’s such a wonderful guy full of life and very hard-working.”

Mr Badru had previously worked with Bristol council as a sport development officer, according to his LinkedIn profile and had interned at non-league Gloucester City FC during his degree studies at the University of Gloucestershire.

Neighbours said Mr Badru had been to church earlier that day and was getting out of his car when he was shot (PA)

In a statement, his former club Almondsbury FC, near Bristol, said: “The club are shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of former striker Abraham Badru.

“We would like to send our thoughts and prayers to Abrahams family during this difficult time.”

Neighbours said Mr Badru had been to church earlier that day and was getting out of his car when he was shot.

One neighbour said: “As soon as I heard the bang, I knew it was a gunshot. I went to my balcony and saw a man slumped over on the ground at the back of a car.

“There was just one shot and a cry of pain. No speeding scooter and no speeding car.”

Another said: “His mother came out and saw him on the floor. It was terrible listening to her collapse crying on the floor. She was just screaming.

“Everyone was very upset and I had to go away, I couldn’t take it. It happened on our doorstep and I had to say a little prayer for the family.”

Ensure you use the torch light in and around  the house at night. God saved me from a dangerous horrible looking  cobra yesterday night  in my toilet seat (WC) here in Abraka Delta state.

It was around 7.34pm when wanted to use the toilet (pee)  I decided to use my touch light to view the sink  before action, i saw a black stuff below the water in the toilet seat and I was trying to identify what it could be because I used the toilet some hours ago.

Lo and behold it was a horrible looking cobra. I called the care taker of the hostel where I live, he came and confirmed it.The snake is so big that we couldn't devised another good means to kill it than the use of Gun.

For more than 2hrs the snake was there until we called the attention of the vigilante group and finally it was killed with the aid of a gun.

Please always make sure you look very well before using your toilet. I couldn't believe how it entered but verifications say it came from the toilet suck away pit.

Former Catalonia president arrested in Germany as he cross in from Denmark.

The police in Germany today arrested Catalonia’s former president, Carles Puigdemont as he crossed over by car from Denmark.

Five months after going on the run from Spanish authorities, Catalonia's former president has been detained in Germany on an international warrant by highway police just after the ardent separatist crossed the border with Denmark.

Carles Puigdemont's capture, aided by Spanish intelligence services, sparked protests of tens of thousands in Catalonia's main city of Barcelona and other towns in the wealthy northeastern corner of Spain.

Some of the demonstrators clashed with riot police, leaving more than 50 civilians and police officers injured and leading to four arrests.

Puigdemont will appear before a German judge on Monday.

Spain was plunged into its worst political crisis in four decades when Puigdemont's government flouted a court ban and held an ad-hoc referendum on independence for the northeastern region in October.

The Catalan parliament's subsequent declaration of independence received no international recognition and provoked a takeover of the regional government by Spanish authorities that they say won't be lifted until a new government that respects Spain's

Spain's state prosecutor office said it was in contact with its German counterparts to carry out its request to extradite Puigdemont to Spain, where he faces charges including rebellion that could put him in prison for up to 30 years.
